It's expensive but it's a lot more than just a big iPad. It's a cracking bit of kit!
Genuine question, what makes it more than a big iPad? I'm interested but can't get over that fact right now,

Bought a 42mm Apple Watch on a complete whim yesterday after suddenly having the urge for one.. Not needed as I have plenty of Omega's and nice watches but turns out it is pretty decent.

Well I've come from an iPad Mini 2, so for me the multitasking is something completely new. I know that the Air 2 can do it but with the Pro I can have two programs running side by side and both 'screens' are still bigger than the Mini's.
The processor is ridiculously quick too, my Mini has started to struggle with a few things but the Pro churns through stuff easily.
The speakers are amazing for a tablet, so much so I've been watching movies on it when I could just watch them on my Apple TV. The screen size is also very good for watching movies and playing games on as it gives a far more immersive experience.
The Pencil, whilst I know it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, is very clever. Being able to tilt it to 'shade' in drawing programs and how there's little or no delay in what you scribble and what appears on the screen is lovely. It's a much nicer experience in my eyes than the Surface Pro 4's stylus which I was also considering.
I know Apple have a few improvements to make with it, the space between icons on the home screens is ridiculous at the moment but I hope they'll update that so you can fit more onto one screen. More Pro-only apps will also be welcomed as developers release them.
Well those are my thoughts at any rate. I've not used my laptop since I bought it either.

I went to buy an iPad pro today as I thought it was what I wanted. Decided against it for a number of reasons [its a unit, not really travel friendly and imho a MacBook Air is far better buy for similar money.

However in the spirit of the thread I did walk away with an iPhone 6s and an iPad Air 2 with Logitech keyboard cover. Just setting them both up now. Pretty chuffed so far [i have a Mac at home but been confined to a st and bulky HP laptop and clunky blackberry for use outside the house] although I'd have liked to have had the option of a backlit keyboard.

Also bought a neat Paul smith iPad case in the sales. Spent a fair amount but I'll be claiming the tax back when I fly home on Monday which will make it a lot more palatable.

Shiny shiny!

So my 7p card never turned up.

I have raised it straight through PayPal this time.

I can't believe I was stupid enough to think it would come...

My 7p item turned up. Not that this is any consolation to you, of course.

I got an iPad Pro for Christmas (well, I bought it and gave it to the wife to give to me).

It is mahoosive. Which is what I wanted but it might prove to be too big.

The screen is a thing of beauty and the Apple pencil is brilliant (but annoyingly easy to lose - why no smart solution to storage?

The killer app is watching films. Something I do on flights. HD video looks amazing. Hopefully it won't be too big to use on an economy flight.

The problem is that most apps haven't worked out how to resize for the size of screen. For instance, reading PH on Safari renders the text in HUGE size - ideal for the hard of thinking but it feels a waste. Viewing it in portrait is better. As someone else said the spacing of the apps on the home screen is comically bad.

I needed a spark plug socket.

So in the Halfords sale I have spent £100 and got:
A set of ratchet spanners, 1/4' and 3/8' socket sets, a couple of additional sockets and a 12V tyre pump for me Mum.
Also the spark plug socket.

I went into the Apple Store today thinking about buying an iPad Pro, it's a ridiculous size and price for what it is.

Had loads of vouchers for my birthday and Christmas. Ended up with a Mac Mini and a new Apple TV.

I'm writing this from an iPad Mini which is the perfect size for a tablet, anything more than email and basic web browsing and you use the laptop.

I accidentally bought a Parrot AR Drone 2.0 Elite in an Amazon Lightning Deal for £149.99 (usual price £215) a couple of days ago and it arrived today.
This is despite already having a Hubsan x4 which is really all that I really need right now.
