Waspy, I have the ego-T system, but really like the look of that tank and mouthpiece. Do you know if they would fit on the ego-T batteries that I have?
Yes definitely.

If you look at the top of your battery, the large outside thread is eGO and the smaller inside thread is 510.

So eGo and 510 devices both fit your battery.

The Totally Wicked Dual Coil tanks are actually 510 fittings, but they sell a small plinth (as seen in my pic) to make it all look better.

DCTs give a really good vape. look for the video on Totally Wicked's site.

Interesting so the 510 starter kit I am getting would in fact fit these DCT's? Nice!

This is the one I liked the look of but they both look similar. I take it the clear body is so you can see fluid level?
Just for clarity, as it's a bit confusing when you first look at all this stuff.

The picture shows a tank wrapped around a cartomiser, I use the same.

The tank hold up the 3ml of liquid and the plastic allows you to see how much fluid you have left. The fluid passes from the tank into the base of the cartomiser via small holes pre-drilled through the cartomiser casing.

The cartomisers, which look like little 2" long metal tubes, contain the atomiser inside them and can be filled either manually by dripping fluid in the top, or by using a tank system like above.

The atomiser inside the cartomiser can be single or dual core and can range from 1.7 to 2.5ohms. If you want lots of vapour, go for dual core 1.7ohms. Might be a bit much for some, but that's what I use.

The atomiser, like all atomisers, will butn out eventually. The ones in the tanks above cost about £2 to replace, buy a pack of 5 at a time, and last about a week.

I switched to this systme from the EGO-T tank system becuase the EGO-T atomisers cost almost £10 each and were of very variable quality.

Yep for sure, see my note above. You can even buy a 'big' DCT tank that holds 6ml of liquid, I did at the same time as I bought the 3ml DCT tank, nut I've never used it, it is quite a bit bulkier and I don't need a tank that can hold 2 days worth of fluid. smile

Make sure and buy the plinth/collar at the same time if you buy the tank, look neater and prevides a bit more strength in case you lean in it or something.

You said it, Squire!

So, looks like I need more than just a mouthpiece and the tank then?

If you switch to just the replaceable atomisers (need an adapter), then you get 5 for £20 I think.

Beware of small batteries with dual coils though. Two coils use the battery twice as quickly, which is why I like 18650s or larger eGo's

Golden rule of vaping always carry spare batteries, tanks, cartomisers, liquid. You don't want to be without a back-up miles from home, that way leads to the Dark Side ...........i.e popping into Tesco Express for 10 Lamberts.

When you buy a Totally wicked Dual Coil Tank (DCT) you get: tank, mouthpiece (called the drip-tip) and cartomiser.

Cartomisers last about a week and are £2.99 each. (other sites sell them cheaper, it's up to you, but TW are very reliable)

Just read the site dude.

No you are miles off.

You need ONE tank (comes with mouthpiece and cartomiser)

You already have a battery which fits, you don't need adaptors.

You will then need spare cartomisers (£2.99) they last a week.

Juice to suit.

Ok thanks people will have a look into those but I really need to get something by the weekend. I've been looking at the screwdriver but it says that it's discontinued, will I still be able to get the cartridges and atomisers for it for a while do you think? Failing that the 510 looks good but will it have enough guts over my current e lite?

yep if you look at the second post I did just above, you'll see an explanation of the DCT tank kit and how it works.

To convert fro the EGo-T tank to the DCT tank, you need a plinth/collar (£3'sih), a cartomiser(£2), a tank(£?? not much) and a drip tip mouth piece(£1?).

Or buy all the above as a DCT tank kit like this: http://www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?categ...

And add on the cone/plinth if you want it.

That's 11.29 for the kit, and 510 DCT (3ml) - Cone/Plinth which is £2.99.

Then, when you need your atomisers burns out after a week you need only replace with the centre with:
510 DCT Dual Coil Cartomizer - 1.5 ohm - Single at £2.49 each.

Talk to the guy who actually makes and sells the Screwdrivers here:

http://www.cavecom.com/screwdriverSD/index.shtml

He seems to have plenty in stock (but not every item), his email is: sales@cavecom.com

This looks like a nice Screwdriver kit, and it's in stock:

http://www.cavecom.com/screwdriver/shop/03silvercl...

Or else for a quick kit, get a couple of eGo Vision Clearomisers (low reistance), a couple of eGo batts and a charger, bottle of juice.

All of this from Liberty Flights or ecig Wizard:
