I love this thread i really hope that you have lots of cats / foxes in the area they will go for the the bangers.

I think if i was going to do this id perhaps bait up the garden bangers on top of the grass for a few nights to get the wildlife used to feeding at that place before i smashed them into the ground.

Whoever thought of this is a legend.

No cats round my way. All indoor pedigrees. I'll chuck a hand full of cat biscuits down as a teaser.

Thats cheered me up after a crap day, thanks.

Mainly I was amused at the mental image of the op laughing manically whilst drilling holes into his lawn and plonking a value sausage into each, his wife and a friend of hers sitting in the kitchen having a coffee watching it being done. I can see the wife crying a little perhaps and being comforted by her friend, as she knows it is only a matter of time before the van arrives to take him to somewhere where he cannot harm himself or others.

Planting Sausages for your internet friends sounds perfectly reasonable to us as it is in context, to the uninitiated it does rate pretty high on the mentalometer.

Well something has been nibbling over the past couple of hours. This bit is beside my garage. The communal bit will be investigated a little later. It's dinner now which ironically is sausages. Not tescos value ones.

Would probably break before it went fully into the ground. Might experiment digging out a small hole and laying a load of cocktail sausages in and covering it up again. that'll have to be monday or tuesday though.

Can somebody put in a request to Jim'll Paint It on Facebook if they are friends?

I want a lawn, hammered sausages, the OP, an MX-5 racing a 335d in the background and assorted PH characters looking on.

Frozen foods should always be planted in the Spring. I thought everyone knew that!
