Agreed I was tempted to post some comment about a very controlling (living with the enemy) freak.

There are a couple of posters on there who have gone from his biggest defenders to his biggest critics.

It would be interesting to make them read the early "Leave Jim alone, he was a saint" posts again whenever i see one of the "fking peado, always knew there was something wrong with him" posts that came out after the stories first started to be confirmed.

Although as with most threads in NP&E the most sensible course in just not to reply to it at all.

I dislike cringeworthy "Did I do the right thing?" threads, where they clearly did do the right thing, but want to hear/see people tell them that they did do the right thing.

"A pram rolled into the middle of the road and a car was coming. I moved the pram out of the way. Did I do the right thing? Or should I have left it there in case the mother didn't want me touching her child?" Followed by replies such as "Yes, you are such a hero xx" "You are one of life's good guys xxx" etc etc.

Or similar threads where people like to big themselves up like "I saw a group of chavs drop litter today. I shoved those crisp packets up there arses and I battered all of them with one punch each. Was that the right thing to do?"

Recall another toecurler, one chap who had about 10,000 posts, claimed not to know what a RR evoque was, then the thread descended into a frenzy about was he fibbing or not - never knew the answer but in my head (important to me) i was 90% convinced of fibbing.

I like the OP, so im lowering my estimate to 50% fibbing probability. We will never know.
Best to play this *spooky music* whilst reading it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDL5MDp8aPc

This one for me:-

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

OP has an issue over some parking, a couple of posters turn up knowing the other person and proceed to tell the OP how hes going to get beaten up etc, then even worse it turns out the selfish parking guy is watching the thread but and I quote

"By the way he is reading this thread with interest and anticipation but will not join in, he's a one to one sort of guy and always up for a challenge"

Very cringeworthy with some of the other comments to.

I know what you mean.

However I think it's quite surprising how often the OP thinks the thread is going to go one way and then the PH bandwagon turns round and rolls over him biggrin

Any thread with a veiled promotional mention of Nando's and their delicious, wholesome offerings of Portuguese chicken dishes served in a friendly, informal setting.

Those posters are obviously just trying to get a freebie - for instance, at the Aberdeen, Belmont Street restaurant around 12:15.

There is some real gold in here and is why I love reading PH, sometimes.

Not quite up to scratch with some of the others but I remember one with a guy who wanted to put padlocks on his dustbins because his neighbours were occasionally putting their rubbish bags into his.

Sorry ive got no links, it was a while ago now too

OP said he bumped into an ex, who then said she was pregnant and it was his. Asked for feedback about what he should do, but when it was given he shot posters down in flames unless they were established on the forums in either time or post count, if you had less than 20 posts he pointed out that thier opinion didnt count, what a cock!
