You worried about getting the car keyd but in reality you should have had the upper hand by working out where he lived....
I heard that he lived on Soleoak Drive in Sevenoaks, where you can park for free on Saturday and Sunday.

Could anyone help me please? I'm visiting Sevenoaks and am looking for somewhere free to park and isn't too far from town. Have you got any recommendations?

Someone should add the free parking on Soleoak Drive, Sevenoaks, TN131QD to the register of free parking on Parkopedia.

What's wrong with Cartoontown? Driving there couldn't be simpler surely, its a couple of straight roads!

+1

Some people think when they buy a house that they have ownership of everything around them, they now own the road and the view as far as the eye can see, none of it can change for eternity. The problem is that these people are apparently listened to.

To be honest I would have moved the car. The resident might have damaged it and there are not going to be any witnesses.

The antics above might make the residents apply for parking restrictions again - and it works. I am in the process of asking the council to add parking permits to stop commuters/mums dumping their vehicles (live quite close to the station, but far enough so no CPZ). Or get a van. I notice the dumpers will not park near a van.

Thankfully.

Lets see there are to many speed bumps - Unable to make swift progress through the place.
Traffic Lights right in the middle of town - fk off turning left and right, I just want to go straight on and escape. wink
Weirdo's everwhere - Have they heard of looking before crossing the road.
Peugeot 206 drivers - Just pull out don't say sorry when you have to brake to avoid crashing into them.

Also it's on the way to work, though I have to admit it does look very marginally nicer in the afternoon as I am going home.

Wouldn't it be a thing if that old bloke on Soleoaks Drive in Sevenoaks was to list his house on https://www.parkatmyhouse.com - and that it was FREE!

And what if his neighbours did the same!

Meh, the real culprit here is the local council - without exception they seem to believe that deliberately limiting parking in built up/popular areas will lead to lower car use, rather than the parking problems that now seem pretty much universal.

In case you weren't sure, a weekend is a Saturday and a Sunday - so on those days you can park for free at Soleoak Drive in Sevenoaks.

I have an interesting situation on my road, residents have allocated spaces and one of them is NEVER used. I can't remember what number it belongs to but as I have access to a lot of new cars I sometimes like to play a little social experiment to see which ones get the notes to tell me to Foxtrot Oscar and which ones don't.

So far 'space tested' - New Transit Sportvan, Volvo XC-60, Hyundai Veloster Turbo, Fiesta ST, Kia Pro Cee'd GT - All went without a note. Mercedes C-Class Coupe, BMW 1-Series Coupe, and Audi A5 all got the notes. Maybe they just really hate German Coupes?

Maybe they have better things to do on occasion than to remind you not to take the piss.

You sound like a great neighbour rolleyes

Apologies if this has been said but what you want is a crappy old banger. Preferably with a few dents and decide to go shopping and park outside the said house every Saturday. Nothing he can do, and should it get keyed, being a banger who cares!

Really annoys me though when you get arrogant old tcensoredr who thinks they own a stretch of road and creates the rules, yes I can see how it gets annoying as we have a similar situation where I live. BUT there's nothing you can do as it's legal so it's basically tough, you just get on with it
