Strange NW/SE split today, with Western and Central Scotland possibly seeing 26/27oC today, while East Anglia in particular suffers at 16oC

Improving for the South as the week ends, with the North going downhill tomorrow to cloud and possible drizzle. No defined end of high pressure in sight, but it stays stubbornly in the Atlantic west of Ireland.

Weather is perfect for me in south wales nice enough to make the most of it but not to hot that when im working on cars im not losing my body weight in sweat just moving a ratchet. Last year in june/july it was 2 weeks of 27-32c heat that was hell when working over a hot engine bay.

Gorgeous weather here in Guernsey at the moment with stunning light levels. It's as if someone's turned on the HD switch. Top pic not mine. smile

OK it's not exactly cold but I wouldn't call it convertible weather. Saying that, if I had a cab I'd probably have the roof down at every opportunity.

Definitely a few more days of pleasant weather, especially in the South. After that things get a bit hard to decipher. We could be looking at a breakdown in the weather for next weekend, however some of the latest charts are reversing that theory.

Just home from dinner on the beach. Took the camp stove and cooked a risotto. Yesterday we roasted a chicken on the BBQ. Love cooking and eating outside.

Will it last two weeks, getting married on the 4th, could really use a sunny day.

There are some hopeful signs, but as ever with the UK weather, when it's not nailed on for high pressure, it's likely low pressure will be around ruining things.

Of course, 2 weeks away is too far to predict accurately - keep checking back!

Current thinking for the weekend, with a particular eye on Glastonbury, is some rain around but not terrible weather.

What's your view on carrying another male (next to you) whilst the roof is down?

If it's an A3, Micra, Beetle, Peugeot 206 CC - it's distinctly not manly...

Pack your wellies for Glasto - roof is going to get heavy use at Wimbledon!

Weekend now looking distinctly unsettled.
