Yes Gina you're black. We noticed.
That's the one! Someone who got famous based on equality alone. Certainly nothing to do with humour!

Any scouse comedian IMHO. As a group, scousers are convinced that they have genetic comedy trait. Unfortunately this is not the case.

I challenge anyone to come up with an (intentionally) funny scouser.

  • Lilly savage - nope
  • The tarbucks - nope
  • Stan Boardman - nope
  • ETA Alexis Sayle - Just shouting loudly isn't funny IMO.

I agree with Gina Yasheri & Hardeep Singh Kholi. Utter tts.

I also detest Justin Lee Collins, Alan Carr & Chris Addsion. Dawn French & Lenny Henry can both F right off too. As can James Corden, Danny Baker & Chris Barrie (although the last two arent strictly comedians).

I didn't laugh once. I just don't see what's so funny about it. confused
Well, we're all (COUGH) different aren't we? I was (ARSE) chuckling away at that almost (ARSE) constantly. hehe
Absolutely we're all different. Good thing too. smile
Fast Show was an absolute pearler of comedic proportions. I don't think I have ever seen since a comedy show with its genius. I find humour to be almost geographic, the aussie's idea of humour is very different, yet it works if done right. Timing is the mark of a true comedian.
Aussie humour is largely - rubbish. And Im an Aussie.

Fast Show was brilliant.
Try searching for Jim Jefferies- Porn superstore. On Youtube. Hilarious.

Have we come up with a funny comedienne yet? I know there is, I'm just struggling to think of her name.

How has this thread gone on so long without the name Marcus Bridgestock being mentioned. Ripping off Ben Elton's act from the 1980s isn't funny.
Have you ever heard him on the 'now show' on radio four. I can only assume it’s canned laughter, it's utter tripe.

I've said this before every time this topic gets dragged up.

Just because YOU don't find a comedian funny, doesn't make them unfunny, they just don't appeal to your type of humour.

If they were not funny, no-one would like them, and they wouldn't become popular.

Maybe the thread should be renamed "Comedians whose humour you don't get"?
+1

And the type of thread usually perpetrated by those people who seem to think something is uncool or crap simply because it is popular.

Russell ****** Howard banghead

Jeez , talk about out of his depth on panel shows.
He persists dragging out every gag that isn't even funny in the first place.

Also, as has been posted Arthur Smith. Saw him once live and it appeared he had actually forgotten he was presently on stage billed as a comedian. Utterly shambolic random drivel. 2 hours of my life I will never get back. tumbleweed

Dara O' Briain live - Genius.

Went to a 'comedy' club a year or so ago and was not impressed.

It was in Leeds and we had some southerner with a routine revolving around people on the london Underground...hmmmm..frown

But worse we had some up her arse so called comedienne who's whole act was just to pick various sections of the audience and slag them off.

We were disgusted when a pair of girls who had been a victim of her waspish cheap 'humour' started to hit back with a few insults of their own and were rewarded by being thrown out by security.

The stuck up bint on stage was slow hand clapped after that and finished her act to a very muted reception.
Sounds like Mandy Knight who we saw at Jongluers last November. Did she also keep letching onto young lads in the audience and ending every sentence with either love or darling?
Not sure who she was as I made an effort not to remember her name.
Her first comment when coming on stage was to see a long table with a hen party on it and say are so thats where all the sluts are tonight..
It wasn't humour , it wasn't clever and it went downhill from there. It most likely was her as she had a patronising delivery style.

In a similar vein how has this thread gone on so long with somebody mentioning Ruby Wax (double checked Wikipedia and she is "classed" as a comedian)

She annoys the hell out of me and I just don’t understand how we get stuck with her in this country.

Can't she just pi55 off where she came from?

America or Canada or wherever she came from are probably laughing at us with putting up with her for so long

Reviewing Wikipedia further we may have got rid of her:

On April 1, 2009, Wax's new television show Ruby Wax Goes Dutch premiered on Dutch television network Net5.

Also I understand she has Jewish origins, as such am I the only one who find this ironic:

Her father became wealthy as a sausage manufacturer
