Glorious today in the south east. Sunny and about 11 degrees. Felt properly like spring.

Next week looks good too.

It now looks like can't get a bloody ESTA to transit through the US to go on holiday in Belize in 2 weeks time. I've got buy a separate flight to get there without going through the US and meet my family there banghead

After the fog cleared.

It was quite the pea souper first thing round here.

Hardly spring-like, double figures hard to find and frosty by night, for the foreseeable - colder than most of the last winter!

Starting to warm up a bit here. During the day, at least.

Somewhere along Hadrian's wall

Langley Castle for my Brother's wedding

Panorama from our balcony, Inn on the Lake, Glenridding, Ulswater

The great weather couldn't last I guess, We had 2 days of this out of 11 so I'm not complaining smile

Then home to more 40 degree days, Sunday afternoon gig overlooking Fremantle harbour smile

I spent 4 years up the road at RAF Spadeadam in the early 90s, the snow was fantastic!

Was hoping to see a bit of aerial action while we were there, but only saw a couple of low fliers once, and I think we were nearer Carlisle at the time

When I was posted there it was a hot bed of low flying porn!

Right, I'm calling it.

There will be no significant snow in the Bedfordshire area now as spring is on the way. It's been a disappointing winter snow wise as it's just not been consistently frozen enough, although thankfully we've also not had the constant miserable windy battering we had last year. Summer wheels go back onto the car at the end of the month.

Been down to Monkey World today in Dorset. Really nice crisp sunny day, a bit nippy when the sun went in briefly but all in all a spirit lifting day with some sun. Even the apes were happily sunbathing in the single figure temperatures.

Lovely clear day here, but bitterly cold, probably the coldest place in the UK this weekend. About 8 degrees c but with a 20 mph north easterly. Spring can't be far away now - first sunset visible from the house this year.

Yes. Back in the UK now, but I think it's tagged to my last trip. I've emailed my VP at work over the weekend, saying "heeeellllpp!!" Hopefully, our travel visa people can sort it all out in super quick time
