Well I think its a shame that the OP has been locked out.
She seemed to give a good account of herself and in days gone by the lounge allowed that sort of thing.
Of late it's become pretty boring and that's reflected in the reduced amount of activity.
Bring back Poshtotty I say! Forget whether she was or wasn't what she said just for the banter and a new, different member.

As mentioned there are girls on here, and as far as I'm aware haven't needed to shout about it, cause a big scene about it. Fair enough they get asked for pics, but int the spirit of Pistonheads I think they get it and the reasons why. Banter not us versus them.

I'm female and a contributor to this site, and yes I cringed at the OP's original post. I love my cars and bikes yet I don't feel it's necessary to point out that I'm female.'look at me, look... i've got a Vagina and I like cars.'

There are plenty of women here who don't feel intimidated to contribute. The fact the OP mentions women and intimdiation makes me cringe further. It should not be an issue.
