Yes, the low pressure associated with the Nor'Easter that hit the US East Coast is arriving.

No need for all the media hyperbole, but it will be a downgrade on the good weather we've enjoyed.

I've been trying to get a last minute ticket for Goodwood.

Waiting for them to come back to me but not bothered now if they don't.

Before Mr Grim chimes in - I don't expect snow in the South or at low levels. However, it will still be cold and miserable!

It got warm and rainy for a few days, but back to lots of snow. A friend just posted this picture of their cabin they arrived at today... They were pleased they didn't have to spend time clearing snow off the roof, laugh

After a weekend of wind and rain, it's freezing cold, windy and snowing this morning. I'm ready for some blue skies and sunshine!

Nightmare this morning getting anywhere in Baildon, huge fall of hail and snow which just turned to icy mush rather than melting, chaos with every idiot sat spinning their wheels on hills.

TT press launch here (Isle of Man) tomorrow, so a lot of the top riders will be here for that and are often out and about the circuit for PR photos etc.

Maybe not today

Same thing happened although in much more spectacular fashion four years ago to the day

I got caught in treacherous driving conditions yesterday on Dartmoor, driving down a hill 25% gradient, one minute sunshine, then sleet, hailstones and snow.

White, wet and miserable here. A couple of inches have settled so far, with a few more hours to go.

27c yesterday...

Winter still continuing here. A lot of snow recently, and a number of avalanches. One of them went over the main road going north and buried 4 vehicles, but thankfully no one was hurt. Some crazy guy had been buried, but once dug out just got a lift to work, laugh One of the trains also got stuck on Sunday and I know they were still digging it out on Thursday.

I wasn't going to bump the thread yet, but as NRS has...

Easter weekend, keep an eye out (after all, it snows more often at Easter than at Xmas).

A couple of inches again today. Bit of a disappointment, as 8" was forecast. Oh well, more due next week.
