It stopped being about a car long ago.

Have Peter Griffin and the chicken gone yet?

A little bit of wee came out when I saw the title, but if there's no film I'll have to make do with my close ups edit of Chris's old videos and some 'special time' instead cry
His wrist must be permanently strained, todger red raw and his laptop in desperate need of a protective covering.
Pretty much sums me up, especially after flemke has posted as well cloud9

Oh, and on a simpler note, anyone who thinks it's cool to use the expression "Leptons".

They seem to somehow feel that if they put "100mph" someone will immediately appear on their door and arrest them.

Put "100 leptons" however and they're like some cool underworld figure foxing The Law at every turn. biggrin

FFS.
This thread is brilliant, it's like therapy - and that's a funny post (at the risk of appearing to be obsequious etc and being slated etc!) as well. The Flemke one makes me smile too, there was one post very recently in it that made me splutter for the irony overload factor alone.

It's all very strange, is flemke a real person? The page count is in it's 100's
I believe he his, it all started after another man on PH claimed to have one but turned out to be a walter mitty type.
FLEMKE stepped in to fill his shoes albeit he actually owns an F1.

It's the thread that reminds me how bad "car bores" can be. I'm sure they analyse more of the car than the original designers ever did. "Oh look, that carbon weave must be in that direction because Nick, who built it, was left handed and his daughter rides horses in an anticlockwise way around the paddock."

The vaunted F appears to tolerate them with good humour and grace but I'd imagine even he cringes at a lot of what's written. Unsure who'd get more offers of a blowy on PH though, Flemke or CH.

I remember one post asking about tyre pressures on that thread. Tyre pressures.

1). Surely you could get that info on a website without asking
2). The information in isolation is as dull as it is pointless
3). In order to give it any context and relevance you'd need experience driving an F1 hard. In which case why would you ask another owner for tyre pressure advice on pistonheads.

In short it was the only question they could think of that would illicit a direct response and as such have Flemke talk to them!

I also saw someone do that earlier today. The cup might still be there. I might have trouble sleeping tonight now.
That's because you don't live in a nice area.

You should move

You know one day in say the next decade.....
Maybe you could wait for the street sweeper to arrive to clear up the cup. Maybe then you could take a drive down there and patronise him with a little bit of your unwanted advice about maybe retraining as a lawyer or accountant and bettering himself. Maybe you could follow him around all day, repeating yourself over and over again.
They earn lots over 30 and don't delude themselves about their situation.

Andrew and AndrewD seem to have a "funny" thing going, in that when one posts the other has to follow with some witty retort.

This one is OK

Thanks folks, will definately post pics, and change the tyres no question.

Anywhere I can buy a set of rims to keep the old tyres on? I'm attracted to the idea of keeping the original P7's even just as a piece of the history stored in the garage
didn't you keep the old gto rims ?

But some others are odd.

They're friends who know each other in real life as it were. A lot of the Lambo guys know each other and give each other "crap" about choices. For example boring grey colour, cars are much more expensive in green etc.

I'm also going to change username if/when it goes.
Was just being silly with your name there. That said, it seems like you don't post about it too much as I don't remember anything said. I think I mention Norway way too much in my posts though!
