I didn't see what else was posted and then deleted but Scott posted the contents of the email received. Not cool really... if you send something privately then you'd expect it to stay that way.

It seems harsh if he was banned for that alone though, as there wasn't anything in the posted message really. But like said above... there was other stuff deleted too and presumably nobody replying now seen what that was.

The last page of this thread is worthy of an entry.

Not at all a mod bash, but I'd be interested to know what the legal reasons you can't impersonate a moderator are. It would help cut down on this kind of horseplay in the future.

It's the Moderator Act 1996.
