It's a little wobbly, but still hanging on.

I have a Snap On one that was given as a retirement gift to my grandfather. Nicely engraved on the side, it's far too precious to me to be taken out of the house.

May have to pm Vidal though...

Oh, and zippo do a pretty decent looking keyring that holds a couple of refills worth of fuel, spare flints etc. Solves the issues correctly identified with practical use of Zippos.

My lucky, faithful old friend zippo was last seen in the hands of a Munich airport security woman frown
You were unlucky frown I went through Munich with my fully charged zippo, and was told that I couldn't travel with it. I explained that it was an important gift from Mr 13th (from Munich Hard Rock) and I think the security woman didn't want a blubbing woman on her hands so let me pass with it once she'd emptied it.

I would post a photo of it in the cabinet it's kept in but it would disturb the dust that's nicely settled in there biggrin

Edited as I was laughing at the memory when posting biggrin

It's my favorite too. Have a few other Marlboro ones somewhere.

Seems quite odd nowadays that a Tobacco company was allowed to give away gifts and outdoor experiences to us wheezing Red smokers smile

Off to buy fuel and flints smile

I've got one of those. Very useful, although from time to time I do forget to fill the bloody thing so in a way it is just like I have transferred the potential for inconvenience over to something else. Feel like Bear Grylls' more prepared uncle when I need fluid and realise I have it on me though.

I've also got this one which, according to the inscription on the back, was presented to my grandfather by a US Navy Vice Admiral who was COMSUBLANT at the time.

Never use it but huge sentimental value...

I just typed Marlboro Zippo into Ebay. What an incredibly bad idea that was.

I love the Navy one^^ Is the base a part of it or is it like a detachable stand?

It's part of it. I should really have included a normal zippo for scale but it's a great big desk thing with a normal size zippo insert, if that makes sense.

Hven't had a Zippo in about 15 years now. Found them to guzzle too much and always run out on a night out, which was always an irritation.
Take some spare fuel

Ahhh, I see. I thought the scale was out a little bit. What a wonderful thing to have!
