Anyway, you failed to spot my deliberate mistakes, for shame.

Surely that is only if you take "speed matters" as "speed is important." if you use the other interpretation ("matters pertaining to speed"), then the colon clouds the issue. However, i would be happy with PH: pedantry matters", because that still allows both interpretations.

Ps - i notice the irony of a badly written, misspelled post full of typos on tis subject. In my defence, i'm currently on an iphone, and it's just too small and fiddly!
