Guy I work with took clients for dinner, got hammered entered his pin as the tip......god that was an entertaining morning after !
I was out with a mate many years ago who, when pissed, took us all to lap-dancing bar in Brum and had us taken into the private room and got us all dances and champagne. We were drunk, but sober enough to attempt to tell him that the private room was a bad idea as the girls kept teling him that it was expensive, but he was having none of it despite us even attempting to drag him out.

Literally 40 mins later we're out of the door and he has a receipt for almost £1000 for his trouble.

In the morning he checked his wallet straight away and went white. That bill was within his means but only just, and it was all taken from a debit card too. It was a lot of cash back then.

Ahh the memories of being young...

I'm sure Soovy posted a pic of a bar receipt of his own not long ago, totalling around £12,000.

yikes

Edit: It wasn't his own, and it wasn't £12,000. God, I'm st at this biggrin

I booked hotel the other week on the Scottish borders. While browsing the confirmation for the address, I noticed the cost. For a one night stay - £244922096. And I had to pay extra for another bed!

No matter how rich I was, I think I would resent paying 10% service on a £30k bottle of plonk if they are just fetching it out of the cellar.

Surprised no-one else has noticed that, such as easy trick there.

i thought that was the idea of an all-you-can-eat, set price no matter how much you can put away?

I'm probably earning myself a whoosh parrot, but where on the receipt does it print the PIN? Why would it, that would be an incredibly stupid thing to do?
