First to pop off...............2017.
Discussion
Every year this thread kicks off - and I used to enjoy it.
This year I find it quite unsavoury.
Not really sure what purpose it serves really. ( I'm getting old I guess )
A lot of the personalities I grew up with are now gone. More will be gone the next year - and the next.
I guess I'm viewing it through a lens of a crowd of unknowns betting on which one of your family members will die first.
"I'll bet on the disabled kid", "The wife is getting on in years and looking a bit peaky"
etc etc
I know - Rant 1/10 - but this year - this thread is beginning to bother me.
The joys of having less days ahead of you than you have spend.

The irony is that you can wish somebody dead on this thread, but get banned if you say George Michael's death doesn't upset you on the other thread. This year I find it quite unsavoury.

I've said this a few times - I have no trouble with noting the passing of somebody famous or important. This year I find it quite unsavoury.

I'm not so keen on the prediction side of things.
And I really hate those who express a wish for a certain individuals to die.

How about someone who says Clint Eastwood every year because they think they'll be wrong as they quite like Clint?I'm not so keen on the prediction side of things.
And I really hate those who express a wish for a certain individuals to die.
Is that OK?
