ETA: I was looking at the 325 tds the other day, pretty much all of them had a barried exhaust, stupid wheels, and a halfords special gearknob. Sickening.

Well, Fachinger is something your GP would prescribe you, you don't use it to make a Bourbon Soda. Tastes very salty.
Re RAC - out of town? It is right on Pall Mall. Maybe you are confusing it w/Hurlingham?
So, if you have never been to Bucks or Pratts, then just s the f u as you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

Well, German tap water is usually on par/better than the bottled stuff. Yes. Some of the bottled stuff, eg. Faechinger, is horrible. Tates as if it's had fish swimming in it.
Re Riesling - very complex matter, but you are right. Also depends which region (Rheingau/Mosel/Kaiserstuhl etc)
Have you been to Bucks/Pratts? [b]No. I've been to plenty of the rest. I get the appeal of the atmosphere and the wine cellars, but most have mediocre food. The RAC with its pool and gym has extra appeal, but it's too far from the City to make sense. If I lived out of town, they'd make a lot more sense.

Apologies if its re-posted- as I haven't read the complete thread, but the one brand that I cannot associate in any way with 'Chav' is Riva.
I just cant imagine splashing around on the shores of Lake Garda to have my day interrupted by a clan of shell suit clad morons piloting one of these-
There's something of a cost barrier.I just cant imagine splashing around on the shores of Lake Garda to have my day interrupted by a clan of shell suit clad morons piloting one of these-
It is beautiful though.

Aspinal is a self-made brand with only a few (<10) years of legacy.
So what? Aspinal is a self-made brand with only a few (<10) years of legacy.

Company branded polos!
One of the wealthiest people I know dresses daily with polos from movie sets he's worked on and just an old pair of jeans. He also wears a 1970's Rolex and occasionally drives his Bentley GT otherwise it's his 1980's Merc SL.
Awesome chap.
Unless you saw him driving his Bentley you wouldn't suspect a thing!
I'd love to be rich enough to pull off this look. Instead I spend too much time and money trying to make it look like I am.One of the wealthiest people I know dresses daily with polos from movie sets he's worked on and just an old pair of jeans. I can see the irony of this.

I'm saying that clubs in the West End, in general, would make more sense if I lived out of town.Re RAC - out of town? It is right on Pall Mall. Maybe you are confusing it w/Hurlingham?

Faechinger comes in hotel mini bars all over Germany. Horrible stuff.
So, are Bucks and Pratts radically different from all the other clubs?
