Disagree, should of reversed in straight.
Disagree all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that the more you look at it, the more it looks like "good parking".In much the same way that you can type "should of" all you want, but it won't change the fact that it's "should HAVE", FFS
Don't thank me. Thanks are not necessary, I was just doing my bit

I've being role playing <snip>
The irony.role playing
noun
1.
PSYCHOLOGY
the acting out or performance of a particular role, either consciously (as a technique in psychotherapy or training) or unconsciously, in accordance with the perceived expectations of society as regards a person's behaviour in a particular context.
2.
participation in a role-playing game.
If you're thinking it should be "roll" then I would advise you get yourself a good dictionary, and do some revision. After 24 years of military service I can assure you that I am fully conversant with the common mistake of substituting "roll" for "role" and vice versa.
I have taken many a roll call, can find my name on a nominal roll, and I fully understood my role within my unit.

Damn it. Me and my smart mouth. That'll teach me. I didn't even spot the being/been error, even when someone kindly pointed it out to me. Arsebiscuits. I've properly made a fool of myself now

Live by the sword, die by the sword I suspect a few contributors to this thread fear an appearance in it. I expect one day I will be quoted here, despite reading back every post.
From the "Pedal Powered" forum...
I counted seven of the obvious mistake (it is the forum title, after all).
Anyone spot the other four, ignoring the errant apostrophes and missing spaces, etc?

So I have been riding around happily for years never thinking about it, I just assumed that if you make the peddles go round then thats the right way to peddle. Since I have had a road bike and then SPD-SL's I have been thinking about peddling.
Pre SPD's my peddling consisted of pushing down on the peddles and predominently using my right foot, that changed with SPD's as I could now pull and push which I found more noticable when climbing. Last night, after reading a few cycling mags and listening to podcasts, I changed my peddling slightly, so rather than pushing down once my foot was at the top of the arch, I was pushing and pulling the peddles as if I was shuffling my feet along. Rather than me exerting max pressure at 0 degrees, I was now doing this at 90 degrees.
I felt like I was getting more power by doing this, the bike seemed to pull away harder but I also felt my legs feeling it alot more. I guess taht this is because it's a different technique so I am using different parts of my leg/hip but can anyone say if either are correct for maximum efficency?
I am keen to hone the right technique now before I start this years challenges so I am used to any changes that I may need to make.

There have been some good threads on sales jobs in the Employment section, some good tips from successful peddlers in those if you have a quick search.
I saw the thread title in my "what's new" feed, and just prayed that the first response was a correction. And so it proved to be. I thought okgo's response was weighted with just the right amount of cutting sarcasm. I counted seven of the obvious mistake (it is the forum title, after all).
