Pathetic attempt at hail in Letchworth. Any chance of a decent amount here? Tgethe radar tracks suggest there is enough around but we haven't seen it yet.

Had about 3" here this morning, but has melted really fast throught the day.

Currently, sea level 2C and fine... above 2000 ft is -C and tricky.

So in reference to my earlier cardington hangers comment, they were going but now we have blue sky...



So you should just catching the tail end of the snow flurry from here in Letchworth now.

Blimey surprised you can see them from there! from my living room I can see the Greensand ridge is completely white at the top.

This is all nice and close! Shame I'm about to go 25 miles north of here (to Thame) in 10 minutes, apparently we will get the second wave at about 5ish though according to BBC!

A Polar Low has formed off the NW coast of Scotland. If this goes near land then someone could be in for a treat.

As you'll read in the Wiki article - they are impossible to forecast the creation of.
