Strange, but what has happened here?
Discussion
I'm not really sure what the OP expected from this thread. Anyone with a brain would have just Googled his Twitter account.
It would be like me asking you all what the capital of Australia is and making you promise not to Google it
If he'd posted again to explain after 2 or 3 pages then fine, but it seemed a little self-indulgent on the OP's part and, yet again, the fawning and grovelling of 90% of other posters made it cringeworthy.

Well done guys!
We get a celeb interested in PH. He makes a funny post. Unusually, it takes a turn about 1 zillion miles O/T.
Has anyone noticed that JP appears to have lost interest? I wonder why?
Oh, and :-
Given that he's only posted in this thread, the "Other" one, and one last year about his amazing catch when he was nudged sideways, he's only ever posted occassionally on here, probably due to his busy schedule. We get a celeb interested in PH. Oh, and :-
He'll come back, just when he has time

Am I the only one still wondering what has happened here?
(the pants, not the thread, I see what happened to the thread )
Jason Plato had his jeans pocket ripped off by Michael Shumacher... but obviously he was slightly overzealous, and therefore the entire leg got ripped off. Oops...(the pants, not the thread, I see what happened to the thread )

You really don't think people in the public eye have any more responsibility than the man on the street in watching what they say? I'm not sure I agree with you.
I'm afraid I'd disagree with you. Celebrity status is not real. Its power given to someone for no reason other than they have a camera pointed at them, or in this case because they drive....well.Why should he be more accountable because of a power you gave to him, that he didn't ask for.
Put yourself in plato's position and his reponses are exactly as one would expect for a normal joe, both at the incident and on the forum.
The rest is our fault not his.

The question isn't about who is to blame, it's about accepting that the situation exists and behaving in a way that is in line with the responsibility (whether you wanted or chose that responsibility or not).
I would suggest that one Ja Ja Binks look-a-like, semi autistic pleb calling Jason Plato a wker on the internet has far less emotional impact on Jason Plato, than Jason Plato humiliating that same pleb unnecessarily on the internet has against said pleb.
Like it or not, it's not a level playing field. All that fawning, pathetic "I love you lol" crap on the original thread only serves to prove the point.
That's generally why people in the public eye try to avoid internet forums, in their known persona, anyway.

I would imagine that you've hardly boosted his self confidence with that description either.Daisy Duke said:
