I wouldn't know, watching the television is for common people. The Butler usually watches it for me.

Whats with the whole "tv on the wall" thing then, I don't get it.

Isn't that the sensible option? It frees up floor space, it looks tidier and its way less likely to get damaged. I can't understand why you wouldn't want it there?

What wires? They're sunk into the wall surely

I never watch ITV usually, but found myself enjoying Broadchurch when it was on recently.

Immediately felt a bit council, so took the missus out the back and scuttled her behind some bins for good measure! smile

.

So how does this work? Mixed messages or what? Earlier in the thread, someone cited a green Mondeo at the door was 'the council'.

First of all, this car is unique. No, zero. nada, gaffer tape on the bumpers.

There is a 'vote for your local Labour candidate' on a 'for sale' type post in the front garden. It's also a terraced house.

Oh and it was for sale not long ago for getting in for £1m.

Mixed mixed messages. I'm sure they are a lovely family with a social conscience who look after their old car. I may or may not agree with their political views.

But. Labour supporters, Terraced house, old Miondeo????

And yes. Worst ever 'I live in a posh area post '

Nice house. If I simply had* to have neighbours, I'd happily look at that.

  • Obviously, one doesn't.

These people are not at all council. I would bet that they are Guardian Reading Champagne Socialists.

Years ago when I was council,(moved on to 'upper middle council'), Our neighbours front door was right opposite ours.

My mum went to get the milk in, holding just a tea towell over her unclothed body. At exactly the same time the male neighbour went to fetch his milk from the doorstep completely starkers. Both said 'morning! and dashed back inside.

Much hilarity ensued.

I've seen a Bentley in Weston super mare Asda literally exactly the same as that with an equally nauseating number plate of j444ku with all sorts of spacing and letter tweaking...Underneath it says in italic writing Jake - the snake.

Nice one Jake thumbup

That's so bad it can't even be considered council - firmly in the lower tier of 'do-as-you-likey' IMO
