Not wanting to go to KFC made us snobbish?

I really am quite surprised that some people think kfc is an appropriate venue for a group of 20 work colleagues to visit on an expensed jolly.
Either I'm being mildly trolled, or the world really is a stranger place than I imagine.

Given the choice between a 4 star restaurant with decent wine/beer or KFC that people would choose KFC.

I'm not trolling you. If I fancied the 4 star restaurant that's where I'd go. If I fancied a Big Mac or a Zinger Tower that's where I'd go.

In my opinion the don't. When I fancy one, they really hit the spot. Not everyone's the same you know. I find that if I have Burger King, it's repeating on me for hours. Don't get that with McDonalds.

Same here, I like a big Mac but a double whopper vs that sloppy slimy st that is the big tasty - no competition.

Thing is though the quality of mcd's raw ingredients is pretty high, the beef, eggs, potato is good quality. The added salt, e numbers, sugar etc is where the rep comes from.

Its all a balance IMO, if my kids are out on their bikes, playing in the woods, playing footy etc a mcd every now and then is OK. As is a Chinese, Indian, pizza.. Sat on their arse playing video games and it could be a problem.
