Appreciate you’ll be further south, but there have been occasions when we’ve needed our Stove on in June.

It's generally been a very wet, windy, and often cold fortnight and a bit in the Western Lake District. It's coincided rather inconveniently with the schools and my wife and I being off school and work.

On average April is usually decent more settled weather here, while the weather doesn't usually affect my overall mood it's ground me down this last couple of weeks. This is possibly more to do with being off work and off the back of winter, in hindsight if the kids are going to be off and the weather is ste we'll either put them in holiday club for some of the time or fk off abroad.

Yeah I was going to head over to the lakes for a run, as Keswick was due to be sunny and 13 degrees tomorrow according to last night's apple forecast.

MWIS now putting tomorrow's windchill at height at -10 with added hail for good measure! Perhaps I'll wait. Again.

I just normally dress appropriately when walking the dog but stay off the high fells in wet weather/poor visibility. It's been a bit wild today, some sleet this morning and heavy rain showers on and off all day.

Love how the tornado also has the audacity to jog the camera down at the end of the video to show the new resting place of that caravan smile

I've been outside most of the day trying to clean my car, one moment it's been warm and sunny, then a shower, then warm and sunny, then cold, then hail, then warm and sunny, then more showers. Repeat.

Stupid weather.

This is what April used to be like, certainly was when I were a lad in the 70s and 80s.

They gritted our road today - Norfolk.................

They sprayed some tar down first and then chucked the grit on it and we are expected to roller it in for them.............

Edited to fix formating

As it’s a weather phenomenon I’ll mention the Aurora again. The app was pinging red again tonight, 2-300. Just about visible to the naked eye, but the bright moon on such a clear night didn’t help and our north is obscured by a forest.

Will have to head to the AC at some point to get the full colour show. Maybe Svalbard, looks an amazing place.

My birthday was last week.

As a kid I was always in shorts by then, literally without fail.

It was 4 degrees last night, baltic.
