Funny but in fairness I've just done this for my son. Wireless audio visual but they still need power

Why the fk would you not rename it too?! Anyone who doesn't realise it is under new management and who still holds a grudge could be inclined to have another go at the place,

Small community though, if it's anything like our village then everyone will know the new manager (not owner) and maybe give them a chance. After all it was the owner that was toxic, not the food.

  • A heads up for all local dog owners **
Today after taking my child to school then doing some shopping I came home to find my black bin has been sprayed with white lines.as well as white spray by my front door. I had a look around my street to see if any others had been subjected to the same. What I found is several but not all of the bins in my close had the same. All of which are dog owners...
Now I have reported it to 101 as it could be someone targeting those with dogs for the purpose of theft. I just want everyone to be alert and on the look out. No one needs or wants to loose their furry friends because of others malicious intents I shall attach photos in the comments... as it won't allow me to add to the post.

Lots of froominng and uokhunz

Bet the police love these calls, beats chasing burglars I guess.

If it were my local, I'd still avoid it as the current owner is leasing the shop from Jaki and Jaki will benefit from my money. Harsh, but if I don't like someone or the company when I won't give my money to them.

I have an independent outdoors shop near me that would be a perfect place to buy stuff for my hobbies - but I don't because I know the owner and he's a tool and has offended a lot of people.

Agreed… People have short memories and it’s way too associated with the previous loon to be a fresh start.

I’m the same… very excited to see a new greengrocers at the end of my road but since I’ve learnt who owns it I won’t go anywhere near!

biggrin

I listed a Triangle tyre (I know the irony, but immediately taken off a car when I bought it!) on FBM for £10. The £10 on the headline listing was just to deter the unwashed if I'd put FREE. In the description I put "Tyre is not £10, it's FREE". Got a response last week from someone asking if he could have it for free but also have money back and anything else I could give him....

FB marketplace absolutely kills me. This isn’t a particularly extreme example, but I’m selling a heavy glass topped coffee table. Woman wants me to courier it. Advised that not really doable but welcome to arrange her own man and van. Then turns out she’s not a million miles away…
…I offer to bring it to work in Bridgwater. It’s 26 miles in the right direction. Not enough, I need to bring it to Glastonbury. After a night shift.

No replies since. I’ll just bin it.

Maybe, but the way it is phrased is rude, simple as that.

PH showing it's social skills at their best once again. biggrin
