Do you have a tattoo?
Discussion
Just as a follow up, settling nicely. I was told to use Aquaphor, and so far it's doing way better than any previous work I've had done, having used tattoo goo, bepanthen and preparation h previously. Figured someone might find it useful as it's available in the UK.
I scab quick and heavily, and so far it's not scabbed in the slightest.

Woman fired for having a tattoo (apologies for the Daily Fail link - I read it in the Times but that is behind a paywall for most):

Miss Perkins said: ‘The only way to cover it would be to wear a sock. I’m a businesswoman and I wear smart dresses to work, so that would look stupid.
‘I suggested covering it with a sticking plaster, but thought that would look unprofessional and draw attention to it.’
Its this sort of thing that the current crop of cool people need to consider whilst planning to have their limbs covered in cool tats. They may want to take the next step up the ladder or change to a customer facing role only for some large corp to have a policy against tattoos no matter how well done. ‘I suggested covering it with a sticking plaster, but thought that would look unprofessional and draw attention to it.’

Unless you're a footballer or a tattoo artist I think it would be rather stupid for anyone in their teens or early 20's to get tattoos in places that can't easily be covered up. At that age, who knows which direction your career is going to take? I'm doing something now that I didn't even know existed when I was 18.KFC said:

Another thing....perhaps the true tattoo guru's here can answer this; some of the artwork I've seen involves some very fine intricate detailing. If said youngsters are having this inked into their tight, low fat, toned limbs surely as they age and the skin inevitably stretches etc their arms are going to look a right old mess?
I can imagine a load of blurred patchy skin that at best just looks badly bruised rather than delicately inked.
I'm getting itchy again...
Thinking of speaking with Kamil and maybe starting my backpiece. Or possibly getting a leg done.
Either way it's been a couple of years and I think I've had enough of a break. I might be popping to the studio in the next week or 2 anyway so will see how I'm feeling
