I would have only bought the PS4... But yeah - Forza... So that's why I got the Xbox One too, then I thought I might as well get the Wii U while I'm at it lol

You're not missing much so far lol Forza 5 was a bit of a dud to be honest!

We have the original WII here, but it's been switched on about 3 times since it came out the box haha.

Was it? What about Horizon 2? I'm still yet to play that despite it being available on the 360 as well frown

Yeah - it had about a quarter of the tracks that Forza 4 had and about 400 less cars.
Also, the car physics were ridiculous, I usually play with all assists turned off and manual transmission... But in FM5 every car was so tail happy that it made it a chore to play. The RX8 - the first car you get in the game (well, one you choose from a selection) didn't want to grip, the back would slip out on every corner regardless how fast you went in at, it handled NOTHING like the real life car, where on FM4 it sort of had some similarities to the real car.

It was just a glorified tech demo with awful physics but gorgeous graphics.

With the Horizon series, in theory they're my perfect racing game, Forza gameplay with a more Need for Speed-like setting... But I never got into the first one and hated the demo for the second, I don't think the semi-sim gameplay suits the arcadey open world.

Ah right, hopefully 6 will be back on form. 5 was probably just rushed to go "look what the xbox one is capable of".

Yer, I think they need to do a remake of Need for speed underground 2, that has to be one of my all time favorites.

I've just depressed myself slightly. Found my last wage slip, and also my wage slip from this time last year. Up to this point, I've earned nearly 4K less this year than what I had at this point last year. Works out at an average of £330 less a month, no wonder im so skint and struggling for money.

Underground 2 brings back some good memories!

I had both an RX-7 and RX-8 in it which is where my love for those cars began! smile

Hot Pursuit 2 was always my favourite though!

Could you not leave the co op and get another filler job until you finish your degree?

My favourites where the 106, 206, Supra & Evo 8.

Don't think I ever played Hot Pursuit 2, the original most wanted with that awsome M3 GTR was a brilliant game as well, then I felt the franchise as a whole took a turn for the worst after that and never quite bonded with any of the later games in the same way.

I have been trying to, it's just trying to find another job. There's very little in the way of work around here though :/ I have been trying to find a bar job to do as well, as I could fit that around lectures and the co op. But nothing so far frown

Yeah you're right about the ones after most wanted. I think I played Undercover that was ok and I played the Hot Pursuit reboot that got great reviews but was actually pretty st but they have really lost their edge these days.

Ahh shame - I suppose you've not got to put up with it for that much longer lol

I cant actually remember the last title I played. I think the whole EA franchise really has lost its edge in the past couple of years.

True, another 18 months or so, will be a long 18 months unless something else appears in the meantime.

Funny enough, we're hiring at the moment for an evening position... With your unnatural sleeping pattern, expensive hobby and lectures it'd suit you perfectly... Shame the commute is a bit too long! I'd have put in a personal recommendation myself.

I don't think my boss will be willing to move the location of the office unfortunately!

Are there any 24 hour call centers nearby?

You could probably get a suitable shift there - plus if you're good at the job the wage will be alright too

Not that I'm aware of. I have been checking the job centre website religiously but the only things that have been coming up is either cleaning or care work at unsuitable hours.
