Surely better to split it up a bit....

Do they act quite different toward you when they see how much cash you have sitting?
Just a bit, taken off to private offices and given coffee. If I just go to the desk it's hilarious watching them look at the screen, then at me, then at the screen again, then back at me. I wasn't married I think I could easily pull every girl working those desks. heehee

I think you've won this thread btw laugh

Re: Cashiers. It irritates me. I had a few quid stashed away for a Deposit. Not in the hundreds or anything. The rare times I went into the branch for something they announce to all and sundry through the intercom "ooh you've got some money in here have you considered investments/ISA's/AN Other financial advice plan" rolleyes So much for discretion! mad

Job: Got promoted this year and got a reasonable pay-rise with it, but the new job is dire and even less stimulating than watching paint dry. Must rectify in the new year for my own sanity as I can't do it for much longer.
Cars: Love the Z4 more and more each day, normally I'm bored after 18 months but this car is brilliant.
Relationship: Single and not fussed in the slightest.
Health: Good - running, swimming and gym work coming along very nicely indeed, did first half marathon in March.
Holidays: Two weeks in India and Sri Lanka last month was absolutely brilliant.
Finances: Bought my first house so all cash reserves have been drained, however it's nice to pay off my mortgage rather than someone else's.
Anything else: Sister's MiL got the all-clear on the big C last weekend.

I'd say all in all 2013 has been a fairly grand year for me.

Job: A big high for me. After being unemployed for 6 months, in January I got a temp job which picked me up (I was honestly getting very down about it all) and then come end of June I finally landed a permanent role. It's bloody tough work at the moment but I'm far happier now
Cars: Just carried on with the Mini. Had it modded a little which makes me smile a lot more. Apart from that I'm tramping up & down the A27 in an current shape Astra 1.7 Ctdi. Bleh.
Health: Carried on losing a bit of weight (over 6 stone now over last few years). Ironically since starting an office job again its creeping on!
Holidays: Now this was a huge high for me! Went to the Ring in May and had a week in Kuala Lumpur back in September. Best bit of the holiday to KL were the two flights back where Emirates upgraded us to Business Class. Now THAT I could get used to yes
Finances: MUCH better now I'm earning!

Lows - killing the Integra spectacularly with a well timed mis-shift.
And my biggest failing of all, when a stupendously hot female with a tiny waist, massive boobs and just generally awesome gives you her hotel room key in a night out to go and meet her later, its not the best idea to think cautiously and decide all may not be as legit as it seems.

Highs - well after starting the year jobless I now have one and at least the dead Integra was replaced with an S2000.

Relationship wise, still single and happy that way 99% of the time. Not a bad year really.

Job: Acquired one 3 days after finishing university. It has enabled me to live down in the SE. Not fanstastic but it will do for now.
Cars: Still own my 106, occasionally get the feeling I'm too old for it and want something else. Then it puts a huge smile on my face.
Health: Much better after an assault last year. On the mend!
Holidays: None. But I live at the beach! Does that count?
Relationship: 2.5 years and counting! smile
Finances: Enough to live on..just
Anything else: My windows have terrible condensation and my landlords solution was to use the ovens extractor fan..

Job: internal move at work in the new year which will be good.
Cars: Had car for five years and it has done 130k now, still love it, any change would be for a newer one the same.
Relationships: Few dates, nothing come to anything :/. Got a brilliant gang of friends and great family, just wish everyone was a bit closer.
Health: Physically good, work was getting pretty stressful, which was affecting me outside work, 3 people now doing about half of my role in lead up to transfer (see above). Very close friend has been pretty ill which hasn't been so good.
Holidays: Nothing extravagant, lot of weekends away and a few sailing trips. Pretty pleased with it on the whole despite no big trips.
Finances: No real complaints. It comes in on the first of the month, most of it goes out on the second, usually there is a bit left at the end of the month.
Anything else: Not a vintage year.

Job: average really, same st different day but did get a nice bonus back in August.
Cars: was hoping to have bought an e46 m3 by now but other things have been of more importance so that shall have to wait until 2014. Still driving an 11 year old 5 door astra. At least it's been pretty reliable.
Relationship: got engaged and we are expecting a baby July time next year. Very happy.
Health: Still going well in the gym. Made some good gains and dropped a little weight too over the last few weeks and now back into the 17 stone bracket. Another stone or so to go but pretty good.
Holidays: Amazing year. Did 16 nights in Florida with my family and took my little boy. Then did a two week break to alcudia with my fiancée and my son. Few weekends and nights away too. Pretty perfect.
Finances: so so to be honest. Will be better next year when I sell my house which I have been renovating and can then tidy my finances up greatly

All in all a great 2013.

Job: Lazy Sixth Form student atm
Cars: Dug the Moggy out of a barn, currently learning to drive.
Relationship: No fit state for one at this present time. Last attempt failed due to my insecurity.
Health: Stabs of low feelings, hating life. Also not been sleeping properly for a long time.
Holidays: Three, twice in Dorset, once in Cornwall
Finances: Not very much.

Anything else: Had some great times this year, but with most of my friends only accessible via internet and meeting up only a few times a year with them have led to me feeling alone in day to day life.

Highest point: Download Festival
Lowest point: AS Levels results day

Should be a laugh...

Job: Pretty crap, couple of unsuccessful stints in volume sales, really didn't enjoy either, now taking time to properly reconsider getting out for good.
Cars: None roadworthy currently. Other priorities have overtaken.
Relationship: Separated from my wife of 10 years; one car crash rebound thing by any reasonable account; met a new lady in early summer, going well since - long distance, has its advantages as well as disadvantages at this stage.
Health: Physical: improved, lost weight, ran my first 10K in May, been jogging along ever since. Mental: Hit & miss due to various life stresses.
Holidays: A few trips to Canada had, couple more booked for next year, may yet squeeze another quick one in for Xmas & NY. Hoping to eventually settle there.
Finances: Could be a lot better, but scraping by.
Family: Severed ties with my mother, re-establishing links with just about everyone else who cut her off years ago.

A big year of change on just about all fronts, with all the associated physical, emotional and financial stresses and strains that brings. Hoping it's all done the job of laying the groundwork for 2014 being a more positive year all round.

Cars: Still lumbered with the Golf SloMotion, need to sort the collection of warning lights and flog it
Relationship: Coming up on 4 years. Lived together for 3, haven't killed each other yet
Health: Mildly less generously proportioned than at the start of 2013, long way to go yet.
Holidays: Vegas biggrin absolutely epic trip, shot guns, ate loads, drove a 660bhp Shelby, saw some shows. If you can go, go!
Finances: Went to Vegas. House deposit remained untouched but my savings account now looks like it did when i was 14 hehe

Job: In the process of starting a new business. Still a few kinks to iron out but almost there and about to launch.
Cars: Sold 'em. Bought a Purple Challenger. Still waiting for the 'vette.
Relationship: Got engaged, wedding very soon. Couldn't be more happy.
Health: It's been a year of fixing the problems and getting healthy. One surgery left on a dicky elbow, and a rotator cuff needs doing, otherwise much better.
Holidays: Took the year off from work. Returned to Vegas for the umpteenth time for my best mate's stag do, had the time of our lives. Currently on holiday in the UK for his wedding. Not the best year, but exploring the US further has been fun.
Finances: Suffice to say with moving over the pond, refurbing a house, and starting a business, my little nest egg has been scrambled.
Anything else: Very, very glad to not be living in the UK any longer.
