Beer.

Cats bring me more happiness than anything. There’s nothing as nice as a fat cat snoring on your lap, or its little furry arms wrapped around your when you fall asleep.
Reminds me of this. Maybe not the Nazi bit so much.

'Putting the house to bed'.

People in, animals in. All safe and secure.

It never gets old, going to my bed knowing the above has been accomplished.

That’s just a description of the way I think of many on here’s Friday night. Having both hands full must make typing difficult.

Similar to making one's bed in the morning, and the metaphor for creating order from chaos.

Women of a darker hue than I. Black hair, dark eyes and brown skin.

Space; The sheer mind-boggling size of it.

Getting pissed.

Hearing my wife (my ex-wife as well) and daughters laugh, knowing I made that happen.

Finding a fantastic film/book/series for the first time and falling into the hole.

Climbing into bed after a bdly long, hard day.

Definitely this, recently found myself living alone after, well never, I now have these little routines each day, waking up the house, open all the curtains and blinds, open the windows for some Luften, make bed etc. Same at dusk, go round turn some lamps on and close everything. Gives me enormous sense of calm and relaxation. The family house was utter chaos and only now realise quite how unhappy it was making me

Skiing. It's killing me that my ACL, 10 months after surgery, still wasn't ready to go this season. I will never tire of a morning racing around the mountains followed by an amazing lunch on a sunny terrace with the best views in the world.

Booze. Not an alcoholic by any means, but I do very much look forward to the weekends and having some beers/wines.

BBQing. I can't imagine I'd ever get fed up with a summer BBQ.

Of course I should say my wife and child....but they do annoy me as well, unlike the three above laugh

- The happiness just being with my wife brings me

- Fettling turntables and restoring old loudspeakers

- Booze. As above, I can go weeks without alcohol, but sometimes only a beer or a glass of red wine or champagne hits the spot.

- Smoked Salmon. I could cheerfully live on this.

- The sight of a pair of shapely female legs encased in black nylons and heels!

One of the hotels we regularly stay at offers free (not really free) smoked salmon and champagne for breakfast. I enjoy my wife milking it and the happiness on her face. She's not a drinker and rarely gets drunk but being pissed by 10am will always make me happy to be in her company, it doesn't happen often.

Agree with a few comments recently, I like a dusky woman with darker skin than my pasty arse.
