Tell us something really trivial about your life (Vol 27)
Discussion
Further to my question earlier of...."How do you put your finger in the way of a sledgehammer ?"
I found out that it involved a scaffold tube and the pain must have been pigging HUGE.
Lucky not to lose his finger I reckon.
I also said he was supposed to have surgery today, didn't happen and unlikely to happen tomorrow due to junior
doctor strike.

I'm finding more stuff to do on my road trip.
Museo Ferruccio Lamborghini is now open all hours,it used to be pre-book only albeit for a guided tour by
Fabio Lamborghini the late great man's grandson.
He still does those for large groups.
It has also moved location to just off the Bologna Padova motorway.
It's also just down the road from Sant Agata for the factory museum too.
no brainer visit.

You're interested in that sector and type of work, you think it would be the type of challenge that would really motivate you. Just ste like that
That was for the covering letter, by the way. Not lunch or Boris Johnson

Eta, you said the job is retail assistant. Not at BHS, I hope?
No Stanford Dingley is in the news as locals try to save the pub, a favourite of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, from going out of business. Do you think it would help their efforts if I alerted them to my wife's inability to instantly recall the name Stanford Dingley? Her first attempt is invariably Upton's Nuff which isn't a real place. Neither of us have any idea why she does it but it could keep the pub preservation effort from slipping from the front pages.
You'd be surprised how often Stanford Dingley comes up I conversation. And Upton's Nuff, of course.

Morning all!
Just spent less then 8 hours at home before returning back to work, but that was due to having an excellent seminar last night by some indian bloke about programming. I can honestly say that 99% of indians involved in IT do not impress me in the least (same goes for most westerners by the way), but this guy was really awesome, he knew his stuff and knows how to present it, no wonder he is one of the key guys in java-land.
And tomorrow is King's day, so ill have a day off, have yet to decide whether ill plunge into the chaos that are the street markets (everyone can sell their stuff freely in public), or just stay in and play video games all day :P

From the looks of it, the technic set is much larger, and while it does look more gappy (which to me is a feature, the megablock set uses a lot of big bespoke panels), it also has a proper (fake) engine, a working flappy paddle gearbox etc... there is no comparing the two really.Vitorio said:

I think I'm going to brave the elements to see if I can get any bargains. Hopefully the weather will put most people off and I can be home again by 10am (and then play video games and drink beer).

Normally i'd brave the elements as well, but considering i hope to be moving house later this year, im trying to cut down on clutter, and as much as i would want to pick up a nice old amplifier for peanutes... maybe that is best left to next year.I think I'm going to brave the elements to see if I can get any bargains. We'll mainly be on the look-out for Lego. My 8 year old lad has been waiting for the free market for months.Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
