Been going on for a few years now, but the need to take a bottle of water when doing, well, anything; walking round the shops, catching a train, going out for a coffee...
100% this, was going to post the same thing.

Usually twinned with an 'athleisure' outfit that makes people think they've been to the gym rolleyes

Is that the girl who was on Strictly a few years ago (Georgia or something like?)?
It's Jemma Lucy. A reality star, but not sure which shows.
Celebrity Big Brother in the bottom picture. Mostly known for Ex on the Beach though.
Oh, good - the one I was thinking about seemed so nice, so am pleased it's not, IYSWIM.

Seriously, they're everywhere in recent months, what's going off?!
Well, not everywhere.

Concentrated entirely on women's torsos.

It's fizz that's nicer than Cava, and a hell of a lot cheaper than Champagne (although obviously not as nice).
But surely, good Prosecco is better than bad Champagne?

Champagne can be well overrated in my opinion, and definitely plays on its name.

Prosecco has managed to more successfully market itself of late, I think I am right when I say that like Champagne, it has to be grown in a specific region to have the name?

But unlike champagne - it doesn't age.
I'd rather a nice bottle of sparkling wine from Saumur - Ackerman, Bouvet, etc! Much cheaper than both and absolutely lovely!

Prosecco. When did Prosecco become "a thing"? A swear five years ago nobody in this country had heard of it, now it's everywhere.
Ah yes, Prosecuto, a.k.a. witch piddle. So glad I packed in drink 30 years ago.

Slag tag is a nickname for lower back tats, the same as tramp stamp is.

I simply think that women look far nicer without a tonne of ink on them, a preference.
Me too X 1000, perhaps we’re in the
minority, personally I can live with that.

Same with gin.
Suddenly popped out of nowhere a year or two ago.

The resurgence of small scale gin making was due to a legal decision in 2009 in a case between Sipsmith and HMRC. The change meant that low volume boutique operations were viable and up sprung all the little distilleries making something more interesting than Gordon's.

Big visible tattoos are the badge of chav, whichever sex they're applied to.

I'm not sure what you mean by "visible", that surely depends entirely on what you are wearing. This soprano singing at the BBC proms last year is a friend of mine. She has a few tattoos, some of them quite large. Obviously such a chav rolleyes

What people say on Twitter becoming news. I think it started about five years ago with stories of people being fired over something stupid they said. It exploded until it got a man elected President over the stupid things they said and now no news story is complete without a smattering of twitter quotes from Nobodies across the internet giving their sentence of wisdom.

I was bloody amazed and laughed when I saw "Recommended by mumsnet" on a product in the supermarket.

The news was making a big deal about Mr T's views on curling the other day, why?

Also, 'incest' porn, that's a thing now.

Chardonnay used to be the "thing" for women to drink before Prosecco became trendy.
