Gretchen has a small fridge. We should keep stuff for her party in the ice house at the Towers and take it with us.

You're not going to get me that easily.

Look, it occurs to me, imagine you're watching a man throw a stick for his dog. Got it? Can you see it in your mind's eye?

Okay.

Eons ago, one of the higher apes threw a stick for his pet wolf for the first time. It had never been one before.

There was a first time.

It's freaking me out a bit.

You would prefer straight and narrow?

Well, I have had a major success this week. Yes. I have finally tracked down that vinyl Chunj is always going on about and is so desperate to own. If we have a whip round I can secure it for him tomorrow.

I shouldn't be here.

I should be boarding a ferry in Dover.

I left my breakdown insurance at home.

If I'd needed it I couldn't look up the phone number as 1.My phone doesn't do internet abroad...2.It's stopped

doing internet anywhere now.

It was too late to come home to get a piece of paper.

I was already booked on a later boat than I wanted.

And P and O texted today saying that it could be up to 30 minutes late departing so late late later.

It was making my roadtrip even more insane due to time constraints.

I didn't say you needed to understand it.

Currently contemplating if it's feasible to go in 4 weeks time.
