Bought a pair of Adidas Hamburg in the Adidas Dublin colourway thanks to the end of year sales. The blue is really superb looking in natural light, although it does seem to mark easily (you can even see variation in the colour in the above picture). All the same, I like them enough for that to not be an issue.
I probably won't get to wearing these for a while, but they'll enter rotation sooner or later.
Really liking the hamburg editions. Quite fancy the green and yellow pair.

Happy 2016 chaps!
2015 has been a crazy year in acquiring brown shoes. Hopefully more in years to come
A good selection there.2015 has been a crazy year in acquiring brown shoes. Hopefully more in years to come
Any plans to try some more adventurous colours in 2016? I'm sure some of the style gurus on here will be able to advise.

I've recommended this spray before but it genuinely is the best I've used for suede protection:
Thanks, I'm eyeing a wholecut burnished olive but may be too dressy.
@Freelitres (L - R) An old pair of Howick (For me to practice polishing & to bash about), Jones x 2, Barker 'Herbert', PaulSmith 'Miller', Cheaney 'Maidstone', Cheaney 'Ewan' and Crockett&Jones Handgrade 'Albion'.
As for polishing, I usually dress it with Saphir Renovateur and Dasco ShoeCream. Light overall C&J Wax Tan or Brown polish and then concentrate on the tip using minimal Neutral wax and water. Usually it takes about 5 - 6 light passes before I get the shine. The tip is to use pantyhose for the final buff. That will bring out the shine even more.
I stained the tip of the Howick shoe with some black wax polish which is easier to shine.

I've gone completely off message and have a pair of Dickies Thinsulate Microsuede slippers which I bought from Walmart for $10.
Plenty good enough for mincing around the house
Nice for keeping your feet warm when you've fallen and you can't get up, and you're waiting for the home help to find you on Tuesday. Plenty good enough for mincing around the house
My bathroom floor is also quite cold so they keep my feet toasty whilst I wait for my helper to get me off the toilet

These ones by any chance? If so I too have been looking at these for a while now but have always found models that I would get more wear out of in the meantime to justify the purchase. No doubt I will go for these in the end but may go for cloud rather than olive as I am looking at a green shoe next and I think two pairs of green would be too restrictive.

Yup that's the one. Reckon one could wear dark jeans with it? I think green pairs with most colours and that is quite a restrained shade so you would be fine.

They make a welcome change from old man brogues.
Quite. I can't understand it, at what age do they become acceptable? I'm 37 and find most of them pretty dire, I don't see others wearing them and am struggling to feel the love they get on here.
