Yes, I have legs and feet.
No, I didn't wear trainers when going out.
No, I've never worn trainers.
Would it also blow your minds if I said I'd never been clubbing?!

Obviously, not all hobbies require you to wear trainers, but you've never went jogging, cycling, been in a gym, played football, rugby, tennis, badminton, basketball, anything like that?

Not quite.I suppose the nearest thing to sports shoes I have, are polo boots?
I've never been in a gym, or gone specifically running. I have, however, joined in with the odd impromptu game of tennis or badminton - on the lawns for example - but I've never played often enough to require trainers.

A nice pair of deck shoes are fine for Croquet.May I enquire, are you still young, in your twenties perhaps?
The correct footwear is always required, I can only imagine that it must be a generation thing.

Well they were a favoured tennis shoe at the time along with the other kangeroo-skin shoe from Diadora, an inferior shoe IMHO.
But we all wore them with our faded Lois jeans, diamond Lyle and Scott jumpers and wedge haircuts.
