That looks like a good size bird bath in the foreground of the second pic?

It's too polar to go out walking.

I'll get wet feet and probably fall over....irked

Hope everything is ok, I must admit we have the same here with Pushfit Minor. Somewhat concerning and coincides with a crucial week in a 5 year course which if it doesn't work out by Friday it's the chop.
Ho hum
Thanks, I think hard lessons have/are been/being learned; the full consequences are yet to play out but the family Champers are a tight little unit and we'll see it through smile

Hope all pans out well with Pushfit Minor thumbup

Everything ok?

How did you get on last week?
Princess Junior, see above <sigh>. We'll sort it.

Princess Senior; last week was a triumph! Audition and interview finished 4.35 pm on Wednesday and a very achievable University offer received 5.45 pm Thursday. Not in her top two preferences but a very decent reserve and, if that's where she ends up, a great place to spend three years by all accounts biggrin

Two more auditions to go.... here's hoping smile

In future do you think we should ask prospective members to audition for the Towers?

I'll do the Macarena.....bounce

In local traffic news , the A217 is now a car park heading south, could be a smash up or the hilly

bits have turned to ice.

Would be a bit like an episode of BGT I suppose. Only with more swearing and violence.

Aye, who would wish to be 14 again? No money, no car, too young for anything (legally) much fun; in 1979 biggrin It was, really, a great time, even through the hard-up phases.

Raise your hands to volunteer to be a Dad to a 14 year old girl in 2016? Thought not getmecoat

Oh, no, it's a T-junction, I can pull straight out without stopping, can't I?

Ooh, it's a roundabout! I've forgotten what to do!

OMG! There's snow on my car! It's all over the windows! I'll have to drive home unable to see anything.

Different for boys. At 14 I was well stuck into taking cars to pieces.

With the intention of them back together again. I should have made that plain.

I was very much the same. My dad had a MK2 Cortina which failed its MOT, rust around the rear suspension IIRC.

Rather than scrap it whole, he decided to break it for spares which was done mostly by myself and a couple of mates.

Bloody great fun it was, dad sold most of the parts to family and friends and was quite chuffed with the amount of cash he realised from it.

Looking back now, maybe we should have welded it back together. It was a 1600E...yikes hindsight's a wonderful thing!

My first car, at age 14, was a 1939 Morris 8 Series E which I stripped with the intention of building a Lotus 7 type special. I got further than you might expect but it was eventually abandoned in favour of a Minivan conversion to Traveller.
