I've made many friends on PH over the years, who I became friends with on these forums and then subsequently met at BTaP or PistonFest or PH car meets, and have gone on to see regularly after that. Should I refer to this as "online friend-making" rather than "real life friend-making"? Or is it just becoming friends with people regardless of how you initially met?
Hello friend <3

The footballer I was seeing for a while 2015/2016 has been back on contact after I told him he was getting too needy and I wasn't going to see him again. It's been about 8 months. He's looking fitter and more cut than ever!! I'm not even slightly tempted.

And then this evening there's this guy.

I'm far from being able to be picky but can't someone just take a few minutes to actually consider their actions? 24 hours I've had the app and I'm considering full time girl on girl already.

Has anyone else been watching Celebs Go Dating? While i know alot of it is staged (or seems to be), but it kinda shows everything that is wrong with 'internet dating'.

Faye - 'gold digging', wants to settle down but looking for a guy only a few years older
Cheibo - looking for the unicorn
Georgie - as a trained actress, you telling me shes never been taught how to flirt? but a messer, apparently her vagina was skipping (their words) but the guy didnt pass the Press Event stage, invites him up from Bournemouth to London just for a coffee only to dump him (im assuming he paid for his train ticket)
Joey Essex - seems just to be dating the stereotypical girls hed meet in a club
Stephen Bear - not quite sure how girls find his 'charm' sexy or wanna sleep with him (im assuming coke comes into play here or maybe im just being stereotypical)
Melody - fit but mad
Perry - will end up being sexual predator with his style

But some of the guys they set the girls up with, they seem to be the sort that would send dick pics off the bat. Whereas the girls all seem to be 'models' (so doing this programme for cv boosting). PLus with Georgie, G found a guy she liked but they insisted that she went on other dates to make sure she fancied him (who she then dumped over coffee and £100 train fare after a couple of dates), so something shows promises but they insist on stopping it?

Regarding the comment of people only using the apps to find love and not the normal way - i have been on dates with girls who only use the apps to find it and dont do it the normal way though they tend to be from East Europe.

Some of us have. Read back a few pages. I know/knew Eden many years ago - I've actually had a fling with him and have a few tales (my best friend was dating his housemate/we all lived very close). Friend and I have been discussing this and the 'characters'. We are both madly in love with Tom! I think it'd be amusing to apply for S3...

Yeah i saw the posts originally but couldnt find it again.

I want the job of the voice over person though. Does Eden run or own a dating agency outside of this?

I was out on a date with a girl recently and she said 'Eden' contacted her mate to go on it via twitter. Not sure if it was as a date or in the mixer

He's the founder of wouldliketomeet.com

I started watching it after a heads up from my old mate. Tom and the voiceover guy are both fabulous. I don't much care for any of the 'celebs'. In fact I've had to ask work colleagues/friends who they all are. When ironically I know who Eden and Tom were.

This programme has been a real guilty pleasure of mine. It was the voice over guy that made the show for me, absolutely hilarious. Tom was brilliant aswell.

Would have loved a date with Chanelle or Miss wales - Could treat them a lot nicer than Chebbo he is a weapons grade bell end.

Nice to see Perry boost his confidence, Joey Essex whilst thick was not as bad as I expected I thought he was a normal ish lad.

Bear complete dick.

Just back home from a date. fk me it's a small world!

Turns out she used to live round the corner from me, she's been to my work a few times and we used to go to the same primary school! She was a year below me, her brother was in my year too!

We had a good time and are meeting up again next week. Maybe I've finally found a good one at last!?

It's easy days. She's possibly had her eye on you for years. Play it cool and try to avoid farting in front of her for a good while.

laugh Great reply - did he even try and save it?

I got caught out with a copy and paste message once when I forgot to change the name. Luckily she found it very funny and still agreed to go on a date with me.

My (female) friend showed me a picture of a dating profile she'd seen at the weekend. In summary, the guy was in Dubai and soon to return to the UK. He was extremely up front about what he wanted - a girl that definitely wanted children, who would be willing to take fertility enhancing drugs and get pregnant ASAP.

My friend managed to resist messaging him....

Balls, didn't think I'd be posting in this thread again.

Back to the world of dating I go, much changed in the last year?
