My wife has had varicose vein surgery on Monday and i'm tied to the house and am feeling utterly trapped.

Didnt get the job I went for odds on fav, approved and recomended by other managers for the role, the weasel of a line manager whose decision it was felt he couldn't work with me. Without me saying anything he's been called in to explain his reasoning but nothing can be done. Fuming to say the least and I know I'm not the only one.

Was so shattered at work last night, but still only managed to sleep til 1230 today.

Went food shopping, never fails to amaze me how bloody expensive just a few days worth is...

Was feeling a bit st but made the effort to go cycling and feel much better for it.

Still getting calls from UK recruiters, might have to amend my CV to say I'm not looking for work in the UK!

Grilled some chicken for dinner at work later, had tea & Nutella on toast... Might have a little snooze before work now.
