I'm not sure I really needed all 6 remote control planes I've acquired. It started with one with 0.480 mm wingspan, & the latest is 2.54 meters.

Now if I can just stop parking them in trees I'll be reasonably happy.

They are all electric powered, propeller driven. Do you think I need to add a jet?
Your first plane was really really tiny. How could you even see it once flying. Was it a remote control gnat?

Lucky you! Great choice.
Cheers ears!

Just noticed that one picture I have is a poor low res version!

Here's a better one!

Enough already! So rubbing it in.

Now where is the "insanely jealous and sulky" thread?

I appear to have bought a cheap home studio, with two continuous lighting soft boxes, 3 backdrops, a frame for the backdrops, some clips, and a bag, all for £70 (normal price is £92 but Amazon Warehouse had a second hand one available).

I probably should have spent 3x that for a strobe kit, rather than continuous, but it's a toe dipped in the water.

Edit: I guess that the fact I didn't buy the strobe one means I'm not eligible for this thread. hehe

What do you need a home video studio for? What are you going to do with it. Genuine non piss-take question.

Just to play around with portraiture, product photography, and the like. For product photography the continuous lighting is probably ideal but for portraiture less so. Still, it's just to try my hand at it so I figured it would be a good start.

I purchased a very expensive vacuum cleaner last year. Hardly used the thing. Sold it yesterday. It was just upstairs gathering dust.

I believe that you might have to pay Tim Vine a royalty for that gag. wink

If you do, then suck it up and don't complain.

Great deal. Lots of potential. Can always add a strobe or two at a later date as you become more proficient, but there's lots to play around with as is.

Opps, too many Ms.

That should have been 0.48 meters.

Tillet had a set of their CF seats at the Autosport show. They were dyed green (black CF with green tint to the resin) and had green leather pads. They would have looked fantastic in your old car Nigel. They cost an effing fortune though!

I bought this about three weeks ago...

Best kit id ever bought, and most mechanically "interesting".

So 2 days later I bought a b'day present for myself...

Shame I'm not allowed it until mid November....

(heres a box comparison....)
