Out of interest, do you think it is right to discourage homosexual behaviour in schools?
Do you think it should be encouraged?

If so, are you on any... Registers?

No, I do not think it should be encouraged, it was a badly phrased question. Please refer to the thread I started titled 'FAO: Urban Sports' where I have provided a question more accurate in meaning to my original question.

No you didn't and it was just as retarded and you admitted it.

I genuinely don't know who is trolling. I think there's just massive differences of opinion which has descended into the usual chaos!

I'm still not sure what you're asking. Are you asking whether the OP thinks the school should try and interfere with people being attracted to each other? How would they go about doing that? What kind of fascist state would encourage that kind of thing?
Yes, that's exactly what I'm asking.
Odd question given that it's probably impossible to stop someone being attracted to someone else.

I've father to two girls. If they have friends round, all of them (boys and girls) want their fingernails done in my missus' glittery nail polish. I think it is the magpie instinct, they just like glitter and bright colours.
As we operate a non-discriminatory policy, they all go home with colourful nails smile
What you fail to mention is that your daughters are 33 and 31.

FFS.

I'm gobsmacked at both peoples inability to deduce a comment as meant in a humorous fashion or more likely their insistence on trying to belittle others to gain some internet pats on the back.

It was a joke, maybe not funny in your opinion, but still obviously an attempt at humour. To suggest otherwise is poor form imo.

Lay off the keyboard and get back to teaching Diana Ross and back combing your sons wig wink

Some people think it's fine for young boys (3 yrs old) to dress in girls clothes on occasion, whilst others do not. This difference in opinion has descended into lots of name calling, mainly focused around homophobia.

I have skipped quite a bit myself however and am joining the dots as best as possible. I have deduced it is not apparently a thread where humour is welcomed.

Thank you ! and equal thanks to the poster above you - I could do with working out how to do multiple quotes but that can wait till another day.

So would I be right in assuming that Mr Urban Sports is perhaps more Jeremy Clarkson than Graham Norton then ?
Have any pictures been uploaded of the OP's wife yet by any chance

From what I can see, the OP's 3yr old son like playing dressing up in girls' costumes. This seems to have triggered some sort of deep-seated insecurity in the OP.

I predict that in about 15 years from now, we'll see a post from a perfectly normal, straight 18yr old PHer complaining about how his father has made the front page of the tabloids after getting arrested for stealing women's clothes to wear to the pub.

Not sure that's even close to an accurate summary.

Some people think it's fine for young boys to play dress up to be like their sisters, cousins etc at home using clothes that are already in the house. I would hazard a guess that the majority think this is fine every now and then, and that their kids have done similar in the same situation.

The OP was talking about his son, who his other half has purposely gone out and bought what to most people would be classed as a girls outfit when there were none in the house, and allows him to wear it outside the home. I would hazard a guess that the majority would find this odd, and wouldn't particularly choose for it to go on in their house.

To me, there is a huge difference. My boy has played dress up at his cousins when he was the only boy there and the girls were doing it. No problem. Would I buy him his own dress to wear at home where there are no girls, no.

How does one approach the tricky issue of a small boy wearing of a christening gown (dress),,,,,? (Yes for his own christening).

Religion AND sexuality all warped up in one dilemma?

That question briefly arose with regards to my kids wearing our family heirloom Victorian christening gown.

I just told my mother that as none of my kids would be getting indoctrinated into a cult until they were old enough to provide their own informed consent, she'd need to get the gown modified to fit an adult if she wanted them to use it.

I know it's as if people don't have a sense of humour, isn't it...

Btw you've said the campest thing on this thread so far, so you know people in glass slippers and that...
