Hmmm.

I have borrowed an iPhone until my phone is fixed.

The android system, so far, is better/ easier laid out than iOS, but the battery life on the apple thing is way better.

Both of those observations are exactly the opposite of what I was expecting.
I'd go the other way on those statements.

I can't help but feel we have gone backwards with battery life. Granted the phones do more in that short time but I want a phone that would do a FULL day of heavy use.

Little things make a difference.

For example when typing in an email/SMS/ing about on PH why should I have to click on to a different menu to find a full stop? Android has it on the normal type pad next to the space bar. Admittedly the siting is dumb,but the fact that it's there shows they've thought things through.{click-full stop-click}

Good Morning All,

Started to feel all achey and ill last night, so had a vindaloo to sweat/st it out and now feel fine.

The power of chillis.

My iOS moanings may be out of date, but in fairness my android phone is about two generations behind the current kit too.

I fully agree with you old boy.. the problem is that you cannot discuss the relative merits of the fruity firm's products on the internet without being labelled a fanboi or a troll depending on the bend of your curve IYKWIM.

Attempting to have a sensible and measured discussion of such things is more verboten than cadance clutching.

Last week I got two part worn tyres for the beater. Right front had a slow puncture from the start. I've only just had a spare 5minutes to take it back and it turns out the valve is knackered. He replaced it for no charge with an apology that he'd missed it the first time.

Repeat custom/word of mouth advertising guaranteed.

That is how you run a business...unlike other recent experiences. frown

I probably shouldn't say that I found the blackberry easier than both then...

You know this anyway, I'm sure, but just stick to a routine. Yours sounds very complicated, so he might take a while to adjust to it.

Glad it's going OK though thumbup

I might get an iphone next month. I wanted a smart phone, generally, but OH thinks I should have an iphone! laugh

I dare you to type something and then double click the space bar.

See.

It does something amazing.

A full stop.

Morning all. I have of late developed the view that I must have entered some weird space-time continuum thingy wotsit. How come, if my weight is going down (and the scales say so), the size of clothes I need to buy is going up? Was Large a few weeks ago, now need X large in some sizes. Ridiculous as I now weigh a stone and a half less than this time last year. Shall write to the minister of clothing sizes and complain in the strongest terms.

I woke myself up at abiout 4.45 this morning by farting loudly.

It didn't wake up the chick next to me though grumpy

Getting back to sleep was a no go.

because of the stench?

I imagine it was something not to distant to that of a one year dead walker from the Walking dead.
