Come back in four days and tell us how you got on....hehe
Well, I'm back half an hour later to say it went crazy and went into 'car mode'.

Back in the rice it goes.
Rice won't help. It's the salt that's left behind that's fking with it now, not the actual water. I tried the suggestion of soaking it in distilled water to get rid of the salt then drying it out again. I have a new phone now.

A simple text message telling me that I'd made someone else happy.

Sometimes it's the little things that make me smile.

I was going to say 'because it's Friday!'.

Now this is something that made me upset today.

After several delays, starting my cancer treatment.
I wish you a speedy recovery, chap.

What made me happy (and, indeed, laugh today) was a Blackbird in our garden. As usual, and after much fussing by Mr. B, we threw a load of dried meal worms onto the lawn. Cue Mr. B spending the next fifteen minutes troughing on said worms. Having had his fill, he flies off to the nearest branch and immediately starts mouthing off about how good his supper was.

I love Blackbirds.

Funnily enough I text her this last night.

labanakt spalvingas mergina

Goodnight gorgeous girl. (I'm a fan of alliteration)

Which actually means

Goodnight colourful girl.

I was a bit gutted it was wrong, but she loved the fact I'd even thought to try.

She's blonde too.

They're the worst ones!

I will dump her in the morning.

Lucky escape. Thanks for your help.

Two things yesterday.
Whilst walking the hound a Lancaster flew over head. Such an incredible machine.
Secondly it's the history gcse paper today, and I spent the afternoon prepping my year 11 students. They're genuinely great kids, and wee crapling themselves. However by the end of the session I'd managed to get them prepped and laughing, meaning hopefully they'll be more relaxed today!

Yesterday I didn't drink and spoke to a counsellor about some long term problems for the first time which made me happy.

This morning its bright and sunny smile

Got my dream job after being out of work since August and managed to triple my previous salary. Starting Monday and really can't wait!

It was worth jumping, but was getting a bit squeaky bum time as far as money was concerned. I nearly cried, stupid non blokey thing to do. So danced round the living room like a moron instead. Roll on complaining about Mondays and looking forward to the weekends again.

Yesterday - finally (after many battles) gained agreement from the Consultant to have an elective C-section for BabyBroon2 in 3 weeks' time smile

Today - managed to get up early and get to work, in the car and little traffic, before anyone else on my floor. That means I can leave early, with time to go to the shops to buy new shoes for my two neices' Christening on Sunday.
