I rent an apartment here http://www.thebeacon.com.ph/ for 20,000php a month so 20000 Philippine Peso equals
289.727 British Pounds. On the PH floor no less.
How would it fare in an earthquake?289.727 British Pounds. On the PH floor no less.

We had an earthquake here a few months ago - ok only a 4 point something and the building just shook a bit for me and I'm 47 floors up.
Where I live in Makati is not directly on a fault line, and earthquakes are not something I will spend my time worrying about, it's the jeepneys flying around in the dark without lights.

big mac index, not a perfect measure but anywhere below the uk your money should go further http://www.statista.com/statistics/274326/big-mac-...
Ukraine seems a very good shout according to this, if you go there before it comes to Europe, you might even make money.CoolHands said:
lisbon - isn't that in yemen or somewhere dangerous?
bali - isn't that where they shoot you, kidnap your wife and take her back to somalia?
vietnam - viet cong
laos - monies
rural spain - no internet. Or anything else to do.
philippines - ladyboys.
There's a reason why Britain is expensive.
Also any North African country, where you'll wake up in an alley with a sore bum and a kidney missing. And smelling of goat curry.bali - isn't that where they shoot you, kidnap your wife and take her back to somalia?
