Bansko was his favourite - I was the Borovets fan. And I was obviously wrong.

So it was, I stand corrected. As it goes I was discussing a potential trip to Bulgaria last week with a mate who goes there with his young kids, it is ideal for them given that young uns just learning don't need masses of terrain. Bugger all snow so far this year though.

I used to enjoy some of WB's posts mainly because it became apparent that we live in the same neighbourhood in Reading. I never met him but reckoned from various things he said that we live within 500 metres of each other, so maybe did pass each other in Waitrose where he would have no doubt have dominated the aisle.
