Wonder how many of these signs were left unaltered?
It's the same sign tongue out

(or did you mean how many of the replacements in that spot?)

Does anyone think it could be a photoshop? Look at the position of the car's headlights on the right.

No. There's absolutely no way that could be Photoshop. Not a chance.

For the love of God!

Albany Park is a business park in Frimley!!!

How can it love cock?

I do like the way they put a little apostrophe where it wasn't needed though.
Saw that yesterday on my way to Camberly. THought it was rather odd.

The first version I saw on the net back in the days of the attrition image gallery was the first one. I lost the original so I can't say whether the second one was a shop based on it, and the top one is a cropped version. It could go either way as the second one is too fuzzy to see obvious pixel errors.

When I was in Uni in Liverpool my bus used to go under a railway bridge on the route home and in huge gloss red letters on the side of the bridge was painted 'JT grooves dogs botties'

Still makes me chuckle now.

I forgot to get a photo, but the condom machine in the gents in the South Sea Hotel on Stewart Island:

Official part: "If the machine is empty, please see the bar manager"

Added in marker:

"If the machine is full, please see the barmaid"

And above the coin return box:

"For refund, insert baby here"

No Mr Foo. I'm not sure I made my plea for assistance in the deconstruction of this happy little threesome...

Your contribution would be welcome to assist in the understanding of why the slogan "fk the Nazis" appears adjacent to the 'artist' + Hitler' clearly fking 'your mum*' (*not your actual mum).... look at the pic... it's clearly not the Nazis being fked.... unless there is some secret lever and pulley attachments secreted within the trouser of depicted Nazi.

Perhaps the artist is identifying himself as a Nazi, so that 'your mum' is indeed, fking the Nazis.

Ah good, the sea is the first line of Moby Dick, although a wall by York University is a bizzare place for it, given York is miles from the coast. It is next to the retreat, a mental institution, which could explain why somebody chose to do it. For some reason I like it.

My favourite piece of graffiti was some somebody grafftiting graffiti, somebody has written FREE TIBET in big letters on a wall at uni, somebody decided to scribble "with every packet of rice krispies" next to it.

Some more from york:

My old school was on a road called Far Lash, some tipex and a black marker turned it into Far Slash smile

Sometimes it would be cleaned off but a week later it would be returned to Far Slash.

I sometimes drive down the same road and 15 years later kids are still changing the sign.
