No have not tired manabush, tbh get all the tobacco and cigar tasting ones from Hol's however fancied trying some more proper tobacco tasting ones. Have you tried any V2 ones, Congress, Sahara, or the red tobacco as you were getting those monthly lots coming from the USA ?
No mate just manabush and a few of the red vape ones. Red vapes nice although a bit expensive. Manabush.....yummy!!! 100% recommended smile

With the zamplebox you select what flavour profiles you want, I didn't pick tobacco.....wish I did now as 90% of the stuff I've had tastes the same. It's a decent service and you do get a lot of juice for your money, but they're all too similar so I've sacked it.

Yes tend to go for the tobacco ones myself, enjoy the strange tastes however have to be in the mood for them and prefer the tobacco ones as a whole.
Shall give the manabush a try though.

Cheers for the offer Twing. I've got a light dry tobacco flavoured one that I got as part of a pack of three when I bought my kit on Monday. So far though I've stuck with a mixed berry one that I got and I've not had a ciggy yet.

That's some bag of goodies to carry around with you BTW.

And Cotty, you're right, it's Pyrex not plastic. I'll have to get shopping for some of those juices now.

About to make the move into sub-ohming, have ordered an eleaf istick 50W, lemo2 and kanger sub tank. Hopefully the postie will be bearing gifts today.

Juice wise I'm working my way through the 3 Counter Culture flavours at the moment. Really enjoying them - they're all custardy.

To the poster up there ^^ asking about day to day kit, I have a 20 watt istick and it is simply brilliant, I have an aspire nautilus on it and the pairing work really well.

Anyone care to briefly explain what this sub malarkey is about?

And is the difference between a 20W device and 50W device just the ability to create more vape at a time?

Curious more than anything, only been vaping this week.

Basically, yes - bigger clouds.

Sub-ohm coils need more power, due to the power involved it does need to be approached with caution, which is why the i stick has temperature detection.

Ah, so sub-ohm wicks/coils get hotter, hence the ability to create more vape.

Cheers for the info. thumbup

No they are max power outputs. The amount of vape will be down to the resistance of the coil and the liquid being used. Basically someone building/making their own sub ohm coils requires higher output from the device hence the 50w & 100w devices knocking around.

30w is more than adequate unless you are using a subtank and using 0.5ohm coils. BUt if you want to get into sub ohm vaping I would suggesd you join a dedicated vape forum where they can provide better information and advise of battery safety.

For anyone interested in, or thinking about going to sub ohm stuff it's worth reading and understanding ohms law. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohm's_law

Yes, resistance is futile. Vaguely remember Ohm's law from secondary school but that's a bit heavy for a Friday morning read at work.

It's more for the people that like playing around with things than a need to produce more vape, no?

...Anyone figured out an easy way to make your own juices with those sticky natural oils yet?...Care to list your top 5 off-the-shelf juices?...
Hi HRL

Like you I am a newbie, and also wish I had found them years ago! Nearly 4 weeks cig free now and not missing them one bit.

I am just starting to mix my own, and purchased VG and PG (referenced earlier) from Piratesvape, they are highly recommended on several sites and the pricing is very good. They were out of nicotine when I ordered, got that from Darkstar. Piratesvape also sell Pixie concentrates which are rated well, only just put a couple of drops of some Ginger Biccies into a premix RY4 from Alchemists Cupboard and I love it.

I like the RY4 I mentioned above. Going to make my own from concentrate I have bought from Cloud 9 Vaping and plan to add to it with some bits and pieces to get a flavour I really like. C9V have a download sheet that shows what ingredients are in their concentrates too which I like, bought a few tobacco variants to tinker with the RY4 concentrate, and some vanilla (French) as I like it sweet.

Both Alchemists Cupboard and C9V sell bottles / syringes etc that you will need too, worth grabbing bits when you order concentrates. Read about steeping, most juices you make seem to need a week or two to develop the optimal flavour.

Hope that helps, have fun!

Thanks for the pointers. Think I'll wait a week or two and use up the few juices I've already got before I go down the DIY route, although it does seem fairly straightforward to concoct your own flavours.

So my mod works and the Atlantis head is quite good. The flavours I picked today were nice as well. My only problem is that 1.2 level liquid is way too harsh for me. Need to swap them over for 0.8 for it to be bearable.

Got my Magma clone today, first RDA I got so was looking forward to trying it out.
Its a dual coil build and came at 0.6 ohms, very good hit.

Finally tried rewicking it as you've done but with a single coil and yep if done right it doesn't leak smile

But this dripping stuff really isn't for me, must have spent a good 2 hours here trying different builds out at different ohms with all sorts of different gauge wire & coil sizes/wraps.....and (the pita bit of rebuilding aside!!) I'm still getting better flavour/nicer vape from my RTA's! Not for me chaps!

I've just ordered the Arctic Horizon tank plus more sub ohm coils for the Atlantis & MELO tanks. Drippers are going back to sleep for a few months frown

Hi Guys
Looking for a recommendation for a tank for the eleaf istick 30w.

I currently use a Kanger Pro Mini 3 tank with a 1.5ohm coil on a vv pen type battery (kanger/aspire), the Kanger Mini will work on the istick, but looking for something that might be more suitable.

Any tips greatly appreciated, cheers.

Personally I find the Aspire Nautilus mini to be a good match.
http://myepack.co.uk/clearomizers/aspire-nautilus-...

However for a direct lung inhale im thinking of getting a Kanger subtank nano with the 1.2ohm coil as I really like the subtank mini but the nano would be a better size on the istick.
