Hi Guys
Looking for a recommendation for a tank for the eleaf istick 30w.

I currently use a Kanger Pro Mini 3 tank with a 1.5ohm coil on a vv pen type battery (kanger/aspire), the Kanger Mini will work on the istick, but looking for something that might be more suitable.

Any tips greatly appreciated, cheers.
Personally use an Hcigar kayfun3.1 clone on the istick 30w, its a subtle vape and no throat hitter at 1.2 ohms however I like the way it delivers and find its a nice smooth vape.

Local vape shops held an open night in a function room recently to launch them becoming stockists of Cosmic Fog juice (nice stuff) and I took the opportunity to updrade my istick mini to the istick 50w.

Using this with the Kanger Aero Tank Dual Coil. Any hints of tips on a better tank for more flavour and cloud? No interested in making my own parts though.

Got my Magma clone today, first RDA I got so was looking forward to trying it out.
Its a dual coil build and came at 0.6 ohms, very good hit.

Finally tried rewicking it as you've done but with a single coil and yep if done right it doesn't leak smile

But this dripping stuff really isn't for me, must have spent a good 2 hours here trying different builds out at different ohms with all sorts of different gauge wire & coil sizes/wraps.....and (the pita bit of rebuilding aside!!) I'm still getting better flavour/nicer vape from my RTA's! Not for me chaps!

I've just ordered the Arctic Horizon tank plus more sub ohm coils for the Atlantis & MELO tanks. Drippers are going back to sleep for a few months frown
Lol see where you are coming from, have you got one of these https://www.fasttech.com/p/2066300 by any chance as they make coil building so much quicker and once you get the hang of it you get perfect coils every time in less than 1 minute.
I like that Magma and reckon the flavors I get from it are fantastic however have noticed the cheapish liquids I have stand out like a sore thumb and meanwhile taste ok on the kayfuns.

So my Railbox arrived today...

It really is a high quality piece of kit, not cheap but feels like an absolute tank. Very nice.

Just been reading some threads on http://ukvapers.org/index.php and found something that might help people on their first steps into trying out vaping.

The basic kit that most people starting out might buy is an EGO Starter Kit, the link has a video showing the kit and how to use it. However if you read the comments "Hand on heart, we would recommend getting started with better equipment (30w iStick and a Mini Nautilus is the starter setup we recommend), but for those with very tight budgets, we offer the eGo kit". So they agree with people on this thread suggesting 30w iStick and a Mini Nautilus as a start kit.
https://www.myvapery.com/beginner-e-cigarette-ecig...

They suggest once you have the basic kit to upgrade to an Aspire K1. This is a great bit of kit that I use every day. If you have an ego battery and the set up is not working this is a cheap and worthwhile upgrade.
https://www.myvapery.com/glassomizers1/aspire-k1?/...

If you want the slim, light ego set up personally I would jump straight to the Aspire K1 starter kit.

eleaf istick 30w

Aspire Nautilus mini

As an alternative to the istick I think the Aspire ESP 30w is a good choice.

Like a few of you guys I use the 510 to eGo Adapters to save the thread on the battery, they do nothing for the looks so have looked all over for 22mm beauty rings which would hide the gap however they do not seem to exist.
On my travels found these which I reckon will do the job to replace the 510 to eGo Adapters and should look pretty good as well.
The early ones seemed to have threading issues but seems they are sorted now, took a punt on a couple anyhow.

I had one of these on pre-order and it turned up today. Still got to get to grips with the control system but it's a great vape.

Just caved and ordered one. Also a pack of 0.5 & 1.2ohm coils. Haven't bought a Kanger tank for ages!

I'll take a punt on this and see if it fixes my 20w. The bendy adapters no good on my istick, the 510's too far gone. Maybe this will be better. And yep....got the 3 pack kuro coilers smile excellent bit of kit and you get 100% perfect coils everytime.

I recon these plus an ohm reader & ceramic tipped tweezers are the most handy things I've bought. cool

Got myself an aspire elite kit... Love it. But it's too big to take around with me. Anything sub 100 quid that is a smaller version?
You pay £100 for a vape stick eek ? Vaping is meant to be cheaper than smoking.

What chip is it using? I've learnt they are all very different in how they apply temp limiting.

Depends on what you want TL for (none of them do temp control - that's a misnomer).

If you just want dry hit protection, they all seem good. Stop the coil hitting silly temps, and killing a wick.

I wanted a bit more than that, in that I wanted to as fully as possible prevent aldehyde formation etc. For that, so far it seems only the Yihi chip uses control algorithms that do this consistently. That's without the reliability issues Evolv have had which to me were significant enough that I cant imagine they did much in the way of proper testing, and instead rushed it to market.

Can somebody tell me why these are called mods and not just batteries or ecigs.

http://myepack.co.uk/mods.html

I tried one of the small type ones before but wasn't too thrilled with it, it was inconsistent and never produced a decent vapour. I want to try something a bit better this time, sick of spending £10 a day on fags.
