Nice.

They look better on than in that snap too, right?
Indeed. they look a bit like I just pulled them off a tramp in that snap. frown

More like this.

I got a pair of these a couple of years ago.
I also find them very comfortable. I really doubt they could be much more comfortable had they been bespoke made (speaking without any direct experience of bespoke shoes sadly).
As I recall, I got them in a sale at Jones' for around £120?

I think people have tried to call custard on Petrus before and he comes up with the goods so I doubt he would bother for a pair of trainers.
Wasn't he the fella who was mocked for wanting help transporting thousands of pounds of designer gear for the model he met on the internet?

Turned out she was real if i remember rightly!

Don't think he would be wearing fake trainers.

They will likely be fake in all honesty.

He "bought them from a known shop" - They sold out months ago, in minutes.
Something about returns - Nobody is gonna return when they can flip for 10x cost.
He doesn't think they're limited - They are. Extremely.
A non collector/hypebeast isn't spending £1000 on these.
They look wrong in the single photo posted.

I don't mind, or want to judge, I just love sneakers and my curiosity is piqued.

E: I guess maybe a couple of obscenely wealthy people wander into flightclub and similar and drop $1500 on a whim, but not many...

These arrived yesterday thanks to drinking too much on Friday night and going online shopping! Actually do really like them though!

Harsh laugh the weird thing is they're probably amongst the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

The jacket sleeves are on the long side as well, though your friend on the right is guilty also.

Can the PH high priests of sartorial etiquette help me with this one? I went to a reasonably posh place for Sunday dinner, it was a hot day so I took off my suit jacket and hung it over the back of the chair. Err no, your supposed to leave the jacket on but unbutton it. I wasn't wearing a tie if that's any mitigation(or it just makes it worse?)

Edited by wolfracesonic on Wednesday 7th September 17:20
The sleeves should show around 1/2 inch of cuff when standing.

Leave the jacket on but unbutton it? with a correctly fitting single breasted suit you should not be able to sit down with it done up! if you can then the jacket is too big.
Tips taken note of I guess I will have to find out about getting the arms shortened I did try the next size down which was better in the arm but it wouldn't go across my back

i really like monk straps but Mrs 2CV absolutely hates them. That wouldn't normally bother me, but the constant ear ache makes it not appear so worth it...

st - sorry - it was something to do with FB where people can place things for sale - I'll have to look it up, it wasn't eBay but similar. Paid via PayPal. These are from a friend of a friend who got them from the Addidas store in Brooklyn, it came with the original receipt (although I acknowledge if you can forge shoes then a piece of paper isn't going to be very hard laugh)

ETA - just looked, it was Foot Locker, not |http://thumbsnap.com/pAwgyPZm[/url]

For anyone that buys off the peg suits and wants to look the best they can I suggest you get hold of the free guide from here -

http://www.williamwestmancott.com/

Basically tells you in one place all the things you need to consider when ordering a bespoke suit. If you apply what it says to off the peg (and get some basic alterations done) then you can look great on not much £££

If we go back to your pic You need to think of the waist of the coat being between the two buttons. Your waist setting is wrong because with the bottom button open it should taper in at that point to define you and then below that point it should widen out again which is why they call the bottom half of a suit coat the skirt.

To see whether the coat is the right length you should put it on and where the bottom button is should be basically over your belly button and level with the top band of the trousers. If its higher the coat is too short.

Decent suit makers offer different suit "lengths" in addition to chest size.
i.e. you could get a size 38 suit in S (short), R (regular) and L (long). Try an S next time?

Thats not just about the arms thats also about the length of the coat and the last thing you want is it to be too short

Chances are, if your arms are "too short" then the rest of your body will be proportionally as short!
So if you are stockier/wider than average for your height, going a size up but shorter length might make sense

Agreed but people look awful when the skirt of the coat barely covers their butt because they have got it wrong hehe

Thing is nobody really tells you when you go to Burtons and Next and such places how they should really fit. Same with shoes, so many people are in the wrong sizes because they don't know how they should fit rather. Back on topic phew

I'm really sorry mate these are 100% fake. I knew they looked wrong!
The Seleno footlocker receipt is a massive, massive confirmation. Seems like that's what the Chinese vendors decided to use for their fake receipt.
