Just dropped daughter's car off at her mum's and grabbed a taxi for the 3-4 mile journey to the train station. Taxi driver was a bit mental going through suburbia, 40-45 mph, tailgating and squeezing through traffic lights that were marginal.
As we headed for the short hop up the dual carriageway I thought "Great, at this rate I'll make the earlier train"

68mph. 68 satnav verified miles per hour all the way. Taxi drivers really are a special breed.
