The "off road prepared" Discovery seems to have taken over as chav chariot of choice.

I suppose it looks good in the parade (of shops).

I don't have a problem with the 'One life..' stickers. It's no different from 'Speed Matters'. really.

The Disco reminded me of a time I was talking to the guy who runs a local Land Rover independent garage. He had just had a very difficult time explaining to a customer that raising his vehicle's suspension would not improve the handling.

Actually it does improve the handling...offroad. It's not the suspension that causes the problem it's the effect of the lift on various other components, such as the steering, as well as the raised centre of gravity. Some lifted 4x4s actually do handle better if they're done correctly, though I suspect the horror in the picture is lifted by by 6" too much. smile

So along with having never heard of TK Maxx or Argos a couple of weeks ago, you've now never heard of Ola Jordan or presumably Strictly Come Dancing?

It's a show that's on TV in the corner of your drawing room. The TV is the thing that looks like a black rectangle canvas in a frame and has moving pictures on sometimes - mainly watched by people not existing on your social plane.

Ah.....OK

Yes I do know what it is.....but have never watched it let alone know who is on the show....why would I ? I am not Gay or Transsexual. I am not into spray tans or glitter, I HATE fking show tunes and st "Entertainment" like that, and those sing-a-long with a retard shows on ITV, just sad ste that best avoided.
