Is there a GOGtor in the house?

Gog, I've been thinking. With the exception of a late sixties, early seventies Vixen, I thought a TVR had to be a V8 TVR. We'll, my company car is currently a W reg V6 Mondeo. It's a hoot and it goes like stink and I was wondering whether a V6 S Series might a way in.

Just thinking out loud. You know.

Evening all.

I've been a bit quiet due too 'circumstances beyond my control' Had to get involved in the FiL nonsense due to the 'Cost Centres' bailing out to Euro Disney!!

I've had to move the chap to a home that can deal with him, all 23 stone, as the Tumor is pressing on his spine & left him basically bedridden.

There is also a suspicion he's had a slight stroke or some TIA's because he can't d writing either.

The Power of Attorney has been returned due to the signature & some money he looks after for his Aunt hasn't been transferred for the same reason.

Needless to say this left me extremely Pissed off, so I came back last night to Egham (on the faceum) & below is what I did today.

Cost Centres return tomorrow, so I'm Ashford bound to collect them & will take them to Kent & return to North London Monday AM.

ETA. I didn't capsize but il be dammed if I can turn the image!!

I have come down with bad aids, man flu, galloping lurgy and what feels a lot like laryngitis; I have retreated to my bed and offers of sympathy will be gratefully received. No flowers at the funeral please.

lurgy?
Mercifully not; unlike dreaded lurgy galloping does not require the playing of a brass instrument to offer palliative care, just the occasional toot on a descant recorder or harmonica will suffice to alleviate gross symptoms.

I'm bit of a fan of Seasick Steve as it happens.

And other, more orthodox, blues it must be said.

Anyone bought the recent Stones blues album?

Slanting River. Near enough to Slanting Mere to suspect a geological phenomenon exists in the area.

Boating for folk with a fear of water?

A marketing opportunity if ever there was one.

But think of the money you've saved to put towards an even better event somewhere even more glamorous.

Indubitably; glass is a supercritical liquid so vessels could float on it, although the viscosity is a little high at room temperature and top speed therefore restricted somewhat.*

Is not inadvertently learning who's on pole a thing, like not finding out the footy score before Match of the Day? Every day's a school day.

*The above may not be true.

I'm always up for a bit of Seasick Steve too.
I listened to the Stones thing in a friends car on a long journey a while back, Blue & Lonesome I think it's called.
I thought it was very good stuff. Eric Clapton plays on a couple of the tracks too IIRC.

Anyhow, the old dog got a thorn in her offside front paw this morning. I've managed to remove it with a pair of pliers (the thorn, not her paw).
She understandably had the hump earlier. I've got her a nice bit of Ox liver for her dinner so that should cheer her up.
