Yep, looks like a piece of pee. I'll be trying that tonight I suspect. smile

Anyone know of a UK stockist for Gremlin Juice? Currently puffing away on their vanilla custard which I sourced through CHV in France. Delicious, but a bit roundabout getting a US juice shipped to the UK from a French supplier.

Re Kanger coils, if your battery life is diabolical it's time to replace as I discovered recently.

Taken a fancy to this thing especially as it can take a Kanger nano tank.

Only problem is still on the heavy side, wish they would build something out of lightweight material.

Carbon fibre and titanium? Think of the cost.

I'd like one too but doubt I could justify to myself how much it would be. Subox kit is serving me well enough for now.

People would buy them I think even if they used expensive materials.
Personally its not only the size for methat matters but the weight is also important.
I have the Gizmo 17 which is a fantastic size but its like a flippin brick, by the time the tank is in its around 200g.

Just realised that the OCC coils I've got have the latest vertical coil, not the horizontal coil that the older ones used. Wonder if I can still rewick one of those as it's bound to be more fiddly.

I'll have a go tonight I think.

Interestingly I couldn't find a vid for the vertical coiled OCC. Perhaps that speaks for itself. Won't stop me having a go though!

Aspire have used carbon fibre on a couple of their batteries and seem to do it without costing a bomb.

Alright I raise your hand and suggest carbotanium instead. Good enough for a Zonda then it's got to be good enough to vape with.

The OCC ones bud. Lots of YouTube vids but basically you can just get hold of the wick with a small set of tweezers. Once you've got a grip twist it out gently (it should come out in one go). Then just twist a length of cotton through the hole, into the coil and out the other side. Snip each end of cotton so the is a small amount of over-hang and gently push it into either side. It'll look just like the original.
Interesting smile

I'll try one tomorrow wink

Just pull the old wick gently, you may need to use the tiny screw driver to push the wick out from the other side but the coils are surprisingly strong. Don't forget to dry fire the coil for a second before rewicking smile

All this sounds good, do I have any option for a Naut mini?

Any recommendations for a ham fisted father in law? I used the nautilus which was a little fiddly to refill so it didn't piss out everywhere so not really suitable for him. He isn't technically minded at all so won't be googling how to re-wick coils or re-build anything. At the moment he's using the cheapo refillable e-cigs, but wants something more substantial.

Doesn't the Aspire Triton fill from the top? Haven't tried one but getting some good reviews.

It does (click pic)

Its also a very good mouth to lung tank, one of the best I have tried but it is also one of the lagest tanks I have, bigger than the Kanger Subtank mini.

Having some problems with my sub mini tank.

Tried the .5 coil and direct lung hitting a few times but figured that I didn't really know what I was doing, lots of coughing, burnt taste, spitting juice , etc. Whacked in a 1.2 coil that also came with it, no problems.

I ordered a pack of replacement 1.2ohm coils that I thought were Identical to what I had gotten used to. Tried using them but I can't get a good smoke from them, I've got the popping, spitting of juice, lack of proper vapour that I experienced with the .5s. Try the original 1.2, all is good.

On closer inspection it seems like the original coil was a slightly different design to the replacements, with the coil going top to bottom rather than the replacements that go 'side to side', but other than that, both coils are marked exactly the same.

Any ideas guys?

On hols in Norfolk, took a trip to Cromer so the kids could attempt to catch a crab dinner...

Instead, ended up having a great chat to the two lads working in the SmokShop, and spent far too much on juice:

Just loaded up my new white subtank mini with Hemingway - really blooming nice. Strawberries and cream with a cereal (really!) undertone. Not sure if it'll be an all day vape, but a pleasant change.

Took a card, and will be ordering from them again - if only to reward a decent bricks and mortar shop.
